Job Opening: Director of Multi-Measure Energy Group--Ballston Lake, NY
The Director of our Multi-Measure Energy Group will be responsible for the continued development and management of business unit which includes teams of business development, energy engineering and project implementation staff.
SmartWatt has plans to significantly grow the service offering and geographic locations of its comprehensive energy project service offering. This position will spearhead this growth plan by working closely with SmartWatt’s existing executive leadership team to develop strategic growth goals for the multi-measure energy group and furthermore will be directly responsible for the achievement of these strategic goals.
Maintaining a high level of quality engineering and implementation for all projects within business unit.
Development of a short-term and long-term business plan to grow business unit.
Immediately provide leadership to our existing multi-measure energy team.
Responsible for the profitable growth of business unit.
Growing additional multi-measure energy teams in new geographic markets.
Expert technical understanding of facility mechanical and electrical systems.
Assuring that the energy engineering group enhances our customer relationships.
Development of energy modeling and calculation tools to be used by our energy engineering team.
Development of workflow procedures to streamline the energy engineering and project implementation process.
Enhancement of proposal development tools.
Be active in business development, including, assist in proposal presentations, attend strategic industry events, attend sales meetings, recruiting additional staff members, etc.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
10 + years of managing a team
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and/or Professional Engineer (PE).
Expert knowledge in understanding utility energy efficiency incentive programs.
Thorough understanding of facility/plant mechanical and electrical systems.
Intimate knowledge of energy efficiency auditing and energy efficiency calculations/modeling.
Expert in developing excel based energy modeling for multi-measure energy efficiency projects.
Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and familiar with AutoCAD.
