Barbara:(doing an escape room with Silvia, Isol and Rio) This safe has a second compartiment. So we need a second key.

Silvia:(snaps her fingers) Wait, I know! The knife that turns into the key is the key!

Isol:(whispering to Rio) Oh boy, here we go.

Rio:(whispering back) What do you mean?

Isol:(whispering mockingly) Will it open this safe? We know this key opens the safe, but will it open the safe? I’m not sure it’ll open the safe. Silvia rambles a lot, and Barbara makes it worse.

Barbara:.....let’s go over this again. The second compartiment has a different keyhole, and you think the other side of the key, the knife-

Rio:(whispering to Isol) There is a key, and there is a safe. One who normally has a safe has only one spot in the safe, but this one has two. Thus we need to use a second key, perhaps shaped like a second keyhole, and using the key we can open the safe as it is a key.

Isol:(whispering back) Silvia Piquet, I do not think this key is a key to the safe. Well, I actually disagree with you, this key is a key to the safe even though it looks like a knife, because it looks like a key and a knife but even the knife is a key. Why use ten words when a hundred will do...

Barbara:What’d you say to him?

Silvia:He said he didn’t do women’s hair, so I said “okay”.

Silvia:And then we stared at each other for thirty seconds, and he made the appointment.

A bunch of the characters picked up a little bit of other languages from their friendships. Magnus, Hart and Isol know a little bit of korean (with Isol it's mutual since Hyunwoo picked up a bit of portuguese too), Barbara, Nadine and Li Dailin know a little bit of spanish, and Sissela knows japanese honorifics and a few other assorted words.
