He then looked over to an odd, alien-like tan being floating beside him. It let out a small chirrup and tilted its head, rising up slightly. A slight frown came to the man and he nodded before looking back at the door and knocking on it lightly, calling, "Hello? ... Is anyone there?"

Company. It was rare that Marc was not in the mood to entertain others, but this was certainly one of those days. He opened the door slowly, and gazed at whoever stood on the other side with as neutral an expression as he could manage-- neutral was better than the disgusted one that first came to him, at least. "Yes?"
