happy fall! here's a mini zine i made about my favorite spooky-not-scary media
even though pride month is coming to an end, don't despair! july is disability pride month, which is just as cool and awesome and important - but in previous years, i haven't see a ton of posts or information about it. so, i'm going to do my part in fixing that! each day of disability pride month, i'm going to post a recommendation of a different piece of media with disabled main characters. the goal is to raise some awareness about some cool books/movies/tv shows/documentaries and hopefully get people into the disability pride month spirt! stay tuned for day one on tuesday :)
Hey, if you like sci-fi, weird little latino guys, and ROTTMNT, mmAYBE you'd like this Indie Show:
It's called Monkey Wrench!! And it's made by Zeurel and his partner Tito. There's already 5 whole episodes for you to watch.
It's really fun, the world and lore is super intruiging, and it's EXTEMELY underrated, THROW IT A BONE!!! (Pun intended)
Here's a link to whag we have of the first season so far, enjoy:

I've been meaning to write this post for months, and I've realized the only thing holding me back was being a damn perfectionist about it, so just imagine me dumping a backpack of well-loved books and DVDs in front of you, and that's basically how I'm presenting you with (drumroll)...
