questioning plurality? plural! confident in your singlethood? split a headmate today!
there seems to be another isuggestplural blog but! they have not posted since early february and most of those posts are donation reblogs. so we wanted to make a more active blog... also just because it seems fun and we're passionate about this sort of thing.
tag us in any posts of folks questioning their plurality! this blog can also function as a funnier-as-a-system blog.
we might reblog posts that are explicitly about plurality or made by folks aware that they're plural already. if we do... #sorry!
send in asks detailing your experiences, our advice and insight is NOT the end all be all but we'd love to try and help where we can. maybe hold off on more serious discussions, thiugh...
TAG US IN YOUR PLURAL JOY POSTS PLEASEEE
also send us plural media... whether it be plural-coded games/shows/movies/songs/whatever or media that is explicitly about being plural we wanna see it!!! we'll tag it as #media recs so take a look through that tag for some :)
(how do i become a system?)
(how do i communicate with my headmates?)
(can i interact with this blog if im openly ___?)
some misc stuff below the cut
we are the revenant birds!! we're made up of two systems, the one posting on here is the luminescent orchestra. we collectively goes by halloran or iris, we use she/lyric/he pronouns collectively. please avoid using they/them on us unless in an explicitly plural way!
we prefer the terms headmates, alters, and symphonists.
you could probably guess from second line, but we are pro-endogenic, including willos. we love all disordered AND nondisordered systems here!! we don't care how you're plural, we just care that you're plural... which you are ❤️ i DON'T wanna do discourse on this blog so we WILL NOT. thx
i also want to mention while im here that obviously plurality comes with a whole host of things that many people view as negative, and we acknowledge that. this blog does not aim to paint plurality as the perfect solution to all problems. we just simply wish to normalize the hell out of it - and besides, it solved a lot of our problems too!
if you take issue to any opinions presented on this blog, send us an ask! we're always up for friendly debate & to admit when we've been wrong.

im going to invent a guy in my head to sit down with me and guide me through my work. dont worry about it dont worry about it (guy named isuggestplurality manifests in my room) I SAID DONT WORRY ABOUT IT
idont really know if 'voice in the back of ur head that tells you those thoughts sound like Disorder style thoughts' is a proper coping mechanism But. it does help,,?
what does it mean if you have like characters in your head that aren’t exactly ocs but you have names and personalities for them and they aren’t exactly you but more like a manifestation of your emotions and you know they’re not real but sometimes they are when you wake up in the middle of the night and you associate them with personal items like they’re not the items but they’re the owners of the items in a way and the items were gifted to you by them in your mind and they’re like spirits almost in a sense but they don’t exactly talk to you directly what is that called
Mildly inconvenient plurality is still not knowing if you’re plural for around a decade, but sometimes you get ✨weird✨ and you just gotta deal with it. Like—
• You start being unable to control the voices in your head for a bit, freak out and try and shove them away and say ‘if they’re here when I wake up, something’s going on’, and you do and they aren’t there…
• You get very impulsive and childish and lightheaded to the point you can’t do the thing you wanted to, even though you really want to and you don’t know why you just can’t…
• You get really stressed to the point your head blanks out and it’s all static, but you hear a voice making commands and gentle urging for doing tasks and taking care of your body…
• You try and write down or talk about your experiences, but it makes your head start hurting and fuzzing out and you just… start refusing to write it because you don’t wanna be presumptuous and it’s not that bad or overexplaining yourself, only to immediately delete it because of the same…
• You don’t have your own identity. Not even in a trans way. Nothing really fits or feels real…
All very sporadic for around a decade. Like, man… Is this plurality? Is this some other form of dissociation? What’s going on?
i think this is a @isuggestplurality moment
(more seriously though, do a top of research, be it on plurality in general or even dissociative disorders. to me, the fuzzy head and a voice helping you through it is a pretty telling sign. I could be wrong, but please consider plurality) -Div

it's been a while since i've posted on here but i wanted to say! plurality might not always be fun or easy but really truly wei believe that it can be with enough hard work and communication <3 split that headmate!
pros of having a favorite character youve liked for over a decade: character brings you joy and excitement
cons of having a favorite character youve liked for over a decade: they have become a permanent part of your internal monologue and you cant get them to go away
baseball interviewers will ask "how do you throw the ball so good" and Mariners players will casually drop that they have a headmate who plays the game for them
I love when people ask us about becoming plural and we get to be like :D good news! you can! :D
(most of these are not inherently plural experiences but they are all ways of talking to parts of yourself or creating mental companions of some sort. plurality isn't always the thing people we talk to ultimately want, sometimes having a self-representing animal friend works better for them!)
Tosya from ZATO really means a lot to us in general as a system...
The protectiveness over your alters, sometimes acting as a sort of savior like in Jammed Signal C hits close to home. We're always having to clean up after the host and each other, help ourselves when others can't/don't want to and when we have the strength to do so. We have to support each other, because if we can't, who will? This also stems from being deeply lonely growing up too.
And especially cause we're endogenic, we can really understand why Asya formed Tosya in the first place. Asya was also always a very isolated child, so we imagine that she probably formed Tosya as a sort of imaginary friend that then spiraled out of her control. We haven't had any imaginary friends growing up, but we always entertained ourselves with voices in our head instead, albeit not to as much of an extent as someone who isn't specifically a median system.
We believe that Jammed Signal C was just the incident where Tosya went dormant after using up too much energy to get Asya out, and also because Tosya and Asya seem to have a history with each other beyond that incident. What sort of pain do you think Asya felt, losing her other half? Losing her best friend, losing many of her own memories, losing herself? No wonder she is how she is in canon.
We see ourselves a lot in Tosya specifically, which is why I'm here, I guess lol. The whole 'born from a wish made in earnest' thing. But even despite the entire system thing, Asya and Tosya are just really relatable. Asya is a sort of comfort character for us, and explorations of her mindset feel comfortable to understand. The real world can be quite unforgiving, but by applying an arbitrary set of rules and pretending we control the variables, it can be less scary, even if it comes with being terrified of things not lining up.
In general ZATO is one of the best games for systems in our opinion lmao. Short & sweet with interesting characters that all have a lot of depth to them. Highly recommend
