There was yelling and singing out from the roof tops of DTLA and every metropolis across the country at the announcement. Joe Biden has given up back out life’s and joyfully reunited us with our freedom! I, myself am particularly grateful to be able to rest at night and begin to make plans to a future with structure and thoughtful governance. Here are a few of my shots of Joseph R. Biden on the campaign at a Biden for President Campaign Fund Raiser at Guelaguetza in the heart of Los Angeles. I post this today to celebrate and acknowledge our new President of the United States. I think the most surprising element of Joe’s appearance was his disarming and unassuming nature when he walked up to the microphones. His security laid back and he simply strolled to were all of us were standing. It was all very low key, and well, normal. I’d think for the most part any body driving by or we’re walking in the area wouldn’t even know the former Vice President of the United State was having a news conference. That’s pretty amazing considering all the famous and high profile events I’ve covered over the years with significant and important people. There were no arrogance or airs about him. That made me like him. Today is a memorable day as we see the next and 46th President of the United States ushered in by Joe’s wins of Georgia and Pennsylvania. I’m looking forward to years of wise steady leadership from Washington DC. Congratulations are in order for our new President. Now we can build back better.
