When I watched the tv show, before I started playing Otome games, I thought he was the most sane one. Then he locked MC in a cage and I'm thinking 'why would people like this?' Then I started playing Otome games, I'm just like 'It all makes sense now. This is what you would call "a fetish".'
no shame though im with ya ( 。・_・。)人(。・_・。 )
Hey. I want to do a matchup please. I'm a very dedicated and passionate person. I know what I want and I am constantly striving to get it. I find myself working overtime to achieve my goals. I can get drained. When I do feel drained, I need time to myself to recoup. I am inspired by the little things in life that make people happy i.e. good food and friendly people. I love anime and have a bit of an obsessive personality. I have a serious outer personality. Infp. I love all flowers and books!
Had some trouble with this one, my bad
Imatch you with Keiki ! (I don't know him that well so not a lot tosay but it seemed like a good match? I think?)
Ithink he'd admire someone who's so goal driven and hard workingespecially because it's so rare tofind people like that who still manage to remain idealistic andaltruistic
He'dappreciate that you are able to find comfort in the small things andthat you're not someone who always wants more and more in order tofind happiness
(Ihaven't played his route and don't know much about him so, I'm reallysorry if this is completely incorrect) I feel like he's not sotraditional and he sees things with a different point of view so helikes being able to connect with someone who's open minded andflexible
Helooks like someone who really dislikes conflicts, however small itmay be, so the fact that you're always trying to surround yourself inharmony is comforting to him
Followingthat, he doesn't go out of his way to be mean to people, it's justnot in his nature to be like that, he does like to tease people buthe's so smooth that even if you tend to take things personally, youcan't ever take his teasing remarks seriously – and even if you,he'll shower you in pretty bouquets as an apology
I'd like to request a guide from Dui (SCM). This has been happening to me really often so I'd like your advice. A lot of the times I can tell when I am going to have a bad day from the moment I wake up. Do you have any ideas that could make a bad day seem less bad for someone who works 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Thank you so much!!!
You received a letter in the mail from the Host Club. Wondering what it was, you opened it and saw that it was a handwritten apology for having your original reservation postponed last month and that Dui was still unavailable for hosting duties. Karno and Teorus will be grateful if you would accept their offer to be your hosts for your visit.
You smiled slightly, relieved that your request wasn’t lost at all, just delayed. While it wasn’t with Dui, you had a feeling that Karno and Teo would also be able to help you with your situation.
******
A few days later, you were greeted in the waiting room by Karno. “Please allow me to formally apologize again for the wait. Dui did not mean to leave your request unanswered. Teorus and I will be your hosts today. He’s waiting for us out back in the gardens.”
You took his outstretched hand and followed him through the cafe, where other patrons were talking with their hosts. You soon found yourself outside in the gardens, where Teorus stood waiting with a brilliant smile on his face.
“Hi, Goldie,” he greeted, pulling out a seat for you. “Really sorry that Dui couldn’t be here. How can we help?”
Karno poured out tea for everyone while you and Teorus sat down. Karno followed suit, sitting down at your other side.
You told them what had been bothering you and what advice you could give her.
Teorus looked away with a frown, as he thought over your situation.
Karno smiled and spoke first. “What you’ve been doing is setting yourself up for the situation you wanted to avoid. By that I mean that you’ve been expecting a bad day to happen. You’ve got that in your subconscious, which almost always leads to something that will make it happen.”
Teorus nodded. “Sort of saying to yourself, “I’m hungry,” when you’re not really, but soon you find your stomach growling.”
Karno raised an eyebrow at Teorus’ analogy, but smiled. “I would recommend trying to focus on more positive things to your day. I know a lot of people do not like their jobs or their commute or both, but many have ways to keep sane. Do you have anything that you look forward to doing? A game? Friends to talk to? Focus on that and not on negative things.”
“Oh, is it that ‘wishful thinking’ thing, Karno?” Teorus asked.
“Pretty much,” Karno replied. “ What you can do, since you say you can tell when you’re going to have a bad day, is to say aloud that you will not let this happen. Be determined to have a good day. Don’t let the feeling you’re going to have a bad day be the end of it and let it have its way. It sounds silly, but try it.”
You nodded, sipping your tea.
“If it doesn’t seem to work, please feel free to come back and we’ll think of something else you can try,” Karno added.
May I request Dui please? I'm Janae. I'm at this point in my life where everything has gone to plan because of my hard work. I'm highly respected by my peers but I feel so lonely. My friends are about to walk at graduation but I'm across the country working. I'm so depressed and lonely. I find it really hard to make friends especially since I'm not in school anymore. I hate bars and clubs. I know that's weird since I'm 22. I just can't motivate myself to meet people like that. I'm so lonely.
By the time you spoke the last syllable tumble out of your tongue, Dui appeared before you. You might have expected to see him dressed in his usual white Department of Punishments uniform, but much to your surprise, he wore an ebony-hued cloak, a small red bowtie and on top of his head was a black top hat. It wasn’t that hard to take in the fact that the god was wearing a magician’s outfit, but boy—did it have to be today?
Dui took no regard of your bafflement. He smiled kindly and tipped his top hat as a sign of greeting. “Hello, Janae! … I’ve heard you requested me as your host. I promise I’ll take good care of you… Oh, what am I wearing?”
He looked at himself as if he didn’t notice before. “I was told that there are these people who do human magic in this world and they’re called magicians. I want to try doing this ‘human magic’ as well.” With that said, he stuck his hand inside his cloak and brought out petals in the air—“Ta-dah! Flowers! Well. Petals. I’m still trying to figure out how you humans fit a bouquet of flowers inside the pockets…” The more genuinely troubled he spoke, the more you had to swallow your laughter. Dui noticed the look on your face however. He cleared his throat, suddenly with looks that kill.
“Quit laughing,” he snapped coldly then afterwards, he heaved a sigh.
“Sorry, Janae… That was the other guy… and he has been grumpy about the human magic fiasco. He did like to wear the top hat.” Dui, back to his kind self, beamed at that and lifted his arm for you.
Dui led you around. He brought you to a variety of easygoing topics—at some point you both arrived to ‘cherry pies’. He introduced you to the other gods who happened to pass by and when Dui felt like you were completely yourself, he asked, “So, is there something else you’d like to tell me? Aside from this Klaus guy.” It wasn’t his intention to tease you but your cheeks reddened anyway.
As you both continued to walk around the host club, Dui listened to your concerns and held you closely to him. And by the time you were done talking, you had both arrived to an empty table. He pulled a seat before you but turned your chair around. You stared up to Dui who stood before you, cloak and top hat and all.
“First of all…” he took his hat off carefully then held it out for you. Before you get to peek in, Dui hauled out a… tiny stuffed rabbit? “Here’s a present for all your hard work, Janae! I’m glad you’re able to reach your goals… Oh, um…”
He spoke in your head: “Yeah, it’s been under my hat for a while now.”
Dui shyly placed his top hat back when he gave your prize, then mumbled how it was impossible for humans to just place a real live rabbit under their hats… “It is hard to adjust without the comforts of your old friends, so you take your time to get used to things. But I promise, it won’t last for long because you will eventually find friends.
“But those friends don’t have to be the ones in the bars and clubs.” Dui laughed. “I am fairly certain that human beings were not wired to go to a bar at a certain age so don’t feel bad! You’re not the only 22-year-old who would rather stay cozy at home.
“And I do believe, bars aren’t the ideal places to make new friends. Often I’ve heard, humans would go there to meet up with friends they already have. Not new ones. You’ll have a hard time there. Instead of forcing yourself to meet people in places that causes you discomfort, how about meeting them in places you like?”
“One of the things I know for sure is that if you like where you are, you’ll like the people you’ll meet. So tell me, what kind of activities do you enjoy doing? Okay... Where do you love to stroll? That’s nice. Of course, even if it’s just staying at home you’ll be able to make friends. The creation of this Internet made it easier to find the people you could connect with nearby, right? There are times when you have to try something new to meet more people. Choose the ones that interests you but never got to try, okay? ... And well, I know that going out of your comfort zone could be emotionally threatening... but adventure is out there. And they live in people---your potential friends. I supposed that’s what’s magical about it.
“Doing all the things that I have suggested, you’ll find that making friends will be much easier and you don’t have to motivate yourself because it’s what you want.
“... It is lonely and depressing without a friend, Janae. But you don’t have to choose a thinking process that discourages you. Whenever someone approaches you, don’t let them walk away so soon because chances are, they’re looking for a friend too. Give them a smile the way you greet your old friends. Talk about your interests, listen to theirs. Just be yourself because that’s what got you your old friends in the first place. And you certainly turn a lot of the guys’ heads a while ago...” Dui glanced around and you thought it was the Shadow Dui glaring at the passers who looked at you. “Do you feel better now? If not...”
He reached for his pockets again and you expected it to be a bunch of failed petals again. Nope. You caught a scent of something sweet and... delectable. It was just a stream of smoke and it was plausible that his “magician” cloak was on fire but upon seeing a round, crusted pie. You dubiously gawked at him. Ignoring you, he just held the pie out with a smile.
“We could eat pie together before we continue our adventure around the host club... Yeah... I might have cheated a little with my own magic,” he mumbled and looked into your eyes with a twinkle.
“But do you want to see more magic?”
Is there a way to re-watch the prologue in TCC? I'd love to see the dubbed prologue again!
I don’t think so. When they released the voiced stuff in the JP version they gave out a diary with the voiced prologue. I’m not sure if they aren’t going to give us that or what.
You could always register a transfer password, uninstall the game, reinstall the game and play through the prologue again to see if it’s voiced.
