The Heart

     Some people choose to think of their hearts as fragile pieces of glass. They tell themselves that once their hearts have been broken the best they can do is try to piece it back together. But shattered glass never comes back together quite the same. Other people understand that the heart is in fact a muscle. When a muscle is pushed beyond its limits it tears, but it does not come back a weaker, more fragile version of what it once was. It comes back stronger, sturdier, and ready to take on even more!       The heart is literally a muscle. It was never meant to be a weakness, but some people make it so. The heart by it’s very nature is strength, endurance, perseverance, LIFE. Do not reduce it to a mere piece of glass. Beautiful submission from meditating-leo

Answers:

1. What kind of lifestyle do you want to live, ideally? – I’d like to live in a simple tiny house out close to nature somewhere, with someone I love. I don’t think I’d be comfortable completely alone, and I never liked the idea of living in or close to a city at all. I’d love to travel though, but I still want to have somewhere specifically to call home.. I want to live healthy and get to know myself and the world a lot better, but right now that seems a little far away.

2.  Favourite memory from this past summer? – Every second spent with my love (:

3. What are your religious/spiritual views (if any)? – I’ve been raised Christian and I haven’t dared to say I’m not until more recently. Christianity never resonated with me though and I try to keep my mind open for anything. I do believe we’re not alone and I think our souls experience different lives to learn whatever it needs to.

4. Political views? – I don’t really want to explain, ahaha.

5. Who are your biggest idols/role models? – is it weird if I say my boyfriend? He’s a really brilliant and kind person and I’ve always admired him and how strong he is. I hope I turn out to be close to how an amazing person he is some day.

6. What decade does your soul belong in? – I haven’t thought much about this but the times I have I’ve just concluded that I don’t fit anywhere better than others.

7. Places you want to travel to in your lifetime? – I really want to travel a lot of places to see different cultures and such. If possible, everywhereee. Right now I’d want to go to America though, for different reasons.

8. If you were allowed one penalty-free wish, what would you wish for? – Getting to live my life with my boyfriend.

9. Favourite quote? There’s a lot of great quotes about different things that I like and I don’t know how to choose one. I’ll just say the first I thought about: “Wind howled through the night, carrying the scent that would change the world”

10. What are you most passionate about in life? – I don’t know, which is probably weird.

11. Who do you think you may have been in a past life (hypothetically)? – Honestly I haven’t heard about or felt connected to anyone like that so I have no idea.

pretty sure meditating-leo is my black brother and we were just separated at birth
