This is your reminder that contributor applications for our Chinese vocal synth fanzine, From Overseas, With Love, close in one week!
So far, there have been 73 applications! Far more than expected, thanks so much! As a result, the scope of the project has been increased, and will take on more contributors than originally planned.
The goal of this fanzine is to show our love for these characters and connect with the mainland fanbase. We can't do that without the fans that make up the small overseas fanbase! If you haven't applied yet, love Chinese vsynth, and can draw, write, make song covers, or cosplay, apply here!

CangQiong’s First Demo and New Medium⁵ Member!
Not too long ago, Quadimension introduced us to CangQiong’s full design via a crossfade video of a new album titled 亚特兰蒂斯Atlantis:

And now we’re being more spoiled with her first demo song! It’s a cover of Zoey’s “Futile Love of the Beautiful Girl” that was originally sung by VOCALOID Stardust. The video is available to view on BiliBili. You can easily hear a nice, mature voice, which is sure to fill the gap left by HaiYi and Stardust!
Also, as you can see in the last few seconds of the crossfade vid, an orange silhouetted outline of ShiAn appears along with a mysterious black box with just the name ChiYu” (赤羽), which can be translated as “Red Feather.” This means that the rumor of a fifth member being added to Medium⁵ is true!
We’ve got two small glimpses of ShiAn’s illustration, but we’ll have to be patient for the full reveal!
