Just another thought: is it just me or that leftists often devolve into infighting over ideological purity, but the right-wing are easier to unite?
Leftists can never agree on anything because they're all convinced that they're the most morally pure people on earth so anytime anyone else disagrees with them, doesn't matter who or what they are or if they're on the same side or not, they do everything they can think of to destroy them. Leftists consider everyone else to be flawed prototypes of humans that need to be re-educated and/or exterminated for the survival of humanity, so naturally, tolerance and compassion has no place anywhere in leftism. Conservatives, on the other hand, run the full spectrum of human behavior and humanity, from some of the most intelligent and successful people alive to some of the biggest retards in the universe (as well as everywhere in between,) and in modern times, it takes a certain baseline level of disillusionment with the status quo to openly identify as conservative so conservatives, for the most part, tend to be willing to work together based on their shared common ground even if they have certain disagreements over particular issues.
Imagine a “baking show” but instead of baking it’s composing.
Like you enter and then the host is like “for your ‘confection’ you will choose one of these pieces from famous baroque composers and arrange your own version of it; you’ll have 4 hours to do so and you must complete at least two-sheet music’s worth!”
So you do that, and there’s guest judges of like… famous classical musicians and stuff. And they judge your piece based on things like how natural the bowing is, if it’s accurate to the time period, the tone, etc.
Then you move on in the competition and they’re like “today you will be arranging another piece, except this time you will make it a concerto centered around an instrument of your choosing!”
And then a curtain opens and there’s a few different instruments to choose from, old and modern.
“It’s very interesting to me that Berry there chose a harpsichord whilst Alyaa is going with the electric guitar; I’m intrigued to see what they’re cooking up; a classic that already has hundreds of concertos, or something new which doesn’t.”
They all get their own recording booths to work on stuff too, and the host can visit them to ask what their vision is.
Also there’s professional musicians there to play the music for them. They take like an hour or so to learn the music and then perform it in front of the judges. The judges all have their own copies of the sheet music to follow along too if they want.
The musicians can mess up a bit too without it effecting the results of the score the piece gets - they only had like an hour to learn it. they’re just there to give a piece of the vision to the judges.
You move up again and then the host is like, “Finally it’s time. Today you will be composing your own piece for the judges!”
*gasps*
*shocked*
*excitement*
*wooooow*
So you go and do that and then you come back like five hours later like, “Today I have for you a quartet in E-flat Major; it’s supposed to give you the feelings of great sadness and anxiety.”
“Oh a sad song in a major key? I’m interested to hear that.”
“Yes.”
“And do you have another title for this piece yet?”
“Yes, it’s Souls of War.”
“Ohh interesting!”
“Yes - it’s supposed to be- very sad.”
And then the quartet plays for the judges and they judge you and all.
And the prize for all of this is getting to have all the songs you composed in the competition - as well as another song you’d been given proper time to compose on your own - performed by [famous musician(s)] at [famous theater], and like… 5k or something idk.
Quickshadow is a Rescuebots character that appears in the show’s fourth season. She prefers to work solo and is absolutely perfect.
She’s obviously skilled in her craft and she knows it. She is confident and snarky but she’s also not a villain which I like. She’s not a braggart, but she doesn’t pretend that others are better at a job then her. The first thing she says to Heatwave when they first formally meet is that he is short. I didn’t really get why people shipped them together but some of what she does could be read as flirting (theirs an episode where she appears and when Heatwave asks why she’s back on Griffin Rock she says something along the lines of ‘I thought you missed me’ in a sarcastic tone). I don’t personally ship them but I see the appeal. Heatwave and Quickshadow have a very interesting relationship to me. I want to see them interact more because it’s fun.
When she was assigned to work with the rescue bots she seemed sort of upset when Blades said Heatwave didn’t like her (looking at her face she seems a bit more surprised) which I think is interesting. She doesn’t intend to offend Heatwave and probably wanted to be on good terms with him. She doesn’t do teamwork and seems to be introverted but that doesn’t mean she would be opposed to the idea of ✨friendship✨ and I do think that they would work well together, especially after the episode where she was put in charge. Teamwork is something that she did need to learn, but she still chooses to work on her own because that’s what she is good at and how she best works. She has her own system and I respect that. I also like that she wasn’t really an antagonistic force or rival to the rescue team. She was actively helping before she revealed herself and was teaching the team a lesson that they would need to learn eventually. Chase was prepared for the issue that arose when the plan went wrong and she was able to learn.
I absolutely love her transformation. It’s probably my favorite in the show because it does a good job of conveying her personality. She is quick witted and has a tendency to show off. She has a strong skill set and is well coordinated. I just really love the way it looks, it’s one of the smoothest bits of animation in the show. And her design is fantastic! She isn’t given boobs that would be out of place amongst the others and doesn’t have eye lashes or lipstick like other female transformers have had in the past. The main way you’d tell the difference in gender is her voice and the fact that the others use she/her pronouns when referring to her. Her head piece is also quite unique, the darker color contrasts nicely with her mostly white color scheme. I like the blue used for her as well, and I really like that she has her wheel on the right side of her car in vehicle mode because she’s British. She has a small amount of kibble that looks nice with the rest of her robot mode.
I like that she can manipulate her body to be able to gain speed, travel faster underwater, and even fly for short periods of time/slow her fall. She could 100% fight in a war and kick some ass. Not that the rescue bots are actually physically weaker from the other Cybertrionians, they handle environments much better than a lot of the autobots in prime. But that’s off topic. Quickshadow has one of like three fight scenes in the show. She takes on a temporary mentor roll to Blurr and Salvage but doesn’t like it because they are special. When she races Blurr she wins not because she’s faster but because she was smarter (which is a lesson that Blurr would utilize in a later episode) and the way she talks to Optimus makes me think that she is known for this. Also her message to Optimus is one of the best ways to do a ‘last time on…’ it made me actually listen to it instead of just skipping over and it’s very engaging in my personal opinion.
Also she’s British
I like her a lot. She should be used in more stories as she has a unique perspective and skill set. I also just really really like her. Hasbro please make better toys for the rescuebots I will buy all your overpriced legacy figures if you just make more rescue bots.

i think that complaining about this to another group is personally, just insulting. you made this a bigger deal than it should've been in the first place. and saying on your two post that I:
1, was "being a fucking asshole to me bruh I'm the owner of that community well me and the system and that user was just being crap to us on their first post on the community"
and 2. "it feels like teheir calling out my community and the members in it like they need to go fuck themselves", which are both ginormous overexaggerations.
I didn't say anything that was personally attacking you or anyone in the community, I was asking something I was genuinely curious about. these responses are just ridiculous and immature.

Friends are people you can be embarrassing with, be cringe with, little fools with, your absolute worst self with (in a respectful way), and be vulnerable with.
If you can't do that, maybe you aren't close enough or that's not a friend :(
Because through all of that, a friend will respect you if you hadn't brought malice to their heart. A friend shows true concern when needed, a friend makes jokes and fun with you but knows when to dial it back to comfort you.
A friend knows how to set boundaries with you and respect yours.
Boundaries can be seen as a distancing tool for most situations, but really, it's a trust tool. Instead of completely cutting someone out of your life, you set boundaries and trust them to not break them. If some boundaries need to be set in a friendship, that is okay. It just means you found a bump in the road and need to adjust a few things with your relationship. Boundaries don't mean that there have to be any tension between you and your friend(s). It just means that you have trust that they will acknowledge and adapt to you and that you will acknowledge and adapt to them.
Now, if you can not trust someone with the boundaries you set, you should probably consider if they respect you at all. A friend is someone you can talk to, sit with, entertain each other with your presence. No matter the background, interests, or occupation, anyone can be friends. But if someone doesn't respect you, that right there is questionable behavior for a friend.
A friend knows how to hold you accountable when you need to be. A friend knows how to defend you when you need to be. A friend knows to encourage your passions. A friend doesn't always make fun of your appearance/interests no matter how uncomfortable you say it makes you. A friend doesn't make fun of your other friends just because they're different.
A friend is someone you should hold close to your heart. A friend is important. Love your friends guys.
I want to try to use speech to text more because I am tired of my arm my hands and arms hurting for like really like no reason.
to be clear I wrote this with speak to text I just cleaned it up a bit. though actually the Google voice typing removes more than my notes voice typing so that's interesting, for example, it ignores my uhhs and uhms. Also it doesn't add punctuation (again, unlike notes).
Though I'll say that it's a lot easier socially to use text just writing by hand because you'll never catch me speaking out loud about whatever I was gonna post on Tumblr on the bus like. like there's no way I'll do that. so it can't replace normal writing for me. and obviously any time in room full of people it would be both functionally and socially unrealistic for me to use speech to text. but yeah I'll use it sometimes.
And also not that I use the Norwegian that much but I can't write in Norwegian with the voice typing from Google. I'd have to use some paid app, which may have some limited use for free but yk, it's Limited.
PSA: I have a surgery on March 30th. This isn’t an April Fool’s joke. I wish it was lol. But anyway: As soon as I’m awake and mildly functioning, I’ll be back to interacting with people for @snaprilfools.
I recently had my nose broken for a third time (few weeks ago) and I have trouble breathing so they’re going to whack my nose open and tinker around in there, do some hammering etc, polishing, whatever it is the doctor elves do when people are asleep, and then all done! Lmao
My nose has the worst luck. Poor guy
Anyway!!! If I go silent on the 30th-1st of April it’s because of an unexpected surgery to help me actually breathe because one side of my nose got broken a couple weeks ago to the point where the nasal passage is closed and I literally cannot inhale to the full capacity that I should be able to. And because I waited for longer than 10 days to get it fixed, they now have to open up my face. Instead of just setting it straight with their hands like you see people do in films lmao
I’m just now realizing that this might sound surprisingly casual. That is because I have had my nose broken more times than Albus Dumbledore and I have zero fucks to give. I just want to breathe at night so I can sleep
