A mild autumn has persuaded our medlar tree to re-bloom this autumn. The first of a heavy crop of medlars are just about to fall. We have only had one mild frost so far. You can see one fallen medlar on the ground in the blossom photo. #medlar #autumn #Wairarapa #cider
Medlar updates. One petal left. The medlars are now all set. Looks like it will be a good crop. The four newly grafted medlars are all making good growth. And finally the barrel co-fermented cider with medlars from the harvest last autumn is tasting great. Now bottled for secondary fermentation. #medlar #cider #blossom
