im a super duper new DM who's gonna run a first level oneshot for my family who are also absolute beginners to D&D. im learning lots thru wathcing JRWI and googling stuff, even thru character creation with my players, but if anybody that sees this has advise for a first time DM running a game with first time players, im all ears!

about 3 weeks ago i was at riptide ep 55, now i'm at ep 90. where did all the time go?

spent like 5 hours cooking and drinking and chatting with one of my housemates. turns out we're much more similar than we realised initially? idk it's just crazy that i actually have a real genuine friendship with a housemate that i'm only going to see for 6 months

in other news, her boyfriend came to visit for the weekend and i accidentally walked in on them making out on the kitchen sofa when i went back in to grab my hairtie so UHHHHH great mortifying experience to end my night with

made an impulsive decision in jan to buy good kid gig ticket, now i'm in amsterdam!

just had my first failed experiment. scratching my brain now wondering what could have caused it to not work

Tagged along to watch my parents play some claw machines at an arcade (their current obssession) with full intention to just sit there and use my phone. I now have a son.
