MEET [the meebul] - Magickal Meetings Series 1.0!

The Meebul is an interesting little entity I came across when exploring in the astral realms with an elven companion. They are little bundles of fluff with big attitude, and naturally manipulate the energies around them in ways that are mutually beneficial to humans. In exchange, they make the most of their surroundings and interact a great deal with human items, nooks, and crannies. You can read more about the species itself here.
These entities will communicate but I find it is much easier to ask about them than to ask them questions directly -- I have here with me a High Journeyman Elf named Mira who would like to shed some light on her knowledge of meebul-kind, and will also help relay some input from a few of her fuzzy friends.
C: Welcome, Mira and thank you for communicating with us today. I know it is kind of interesting that we chose meebuls first as they are a race that doesn’t communicate in the same way most elves and vampyres do, and I thank you for coming to shed some light on them.
M: They are adorable creatures, and are extremely intelligent, really. I know that humans appreciate how small and cute they are, though. It’s no problem.
C: So first of all, what do meebuls do on their home planes?
M: They spend a lot of time in small spaces where they can manipulate and charge energy without losing much of their work. They make small orbs of energy they either use or consume. Many elves avoid working with them if the creature themselves are new to them -- they can be fierce little protectors when spooked.
C: So, may I ask why some are more human-oriented and others are not?
M: The spiritual energies on earth are much more dense, so it is a great place for a meebul to play with energies around them. They love small spaces like drawers, the inside of socks, pocketbooks, anywhere they can project their energies really. Also -- there are two different over-arching varieties. One will not associate with humans or even elves, but others have co-evolved and thrived alongside other species for aeons. Those that come forward for you are of the second variety.
C: So what roles do they generally play in the spirit family?
M: I guess if you -had- to categorize them, these entities are mini-protectors, energy purifiers, and generally a mood-boosting companion. They thrive off smiles and good times. They are really loving beings, and love being around anyone who enjoys their company. They can sense when they are truly wanted and it is a sensation that makes them extremely happy.
C: I think I already know the answer to this, but what does a meebul do when they are happy?
M: Oh, they chirp. Even on the earthen planes you will hear it sometimes. They also love to wake up animals around you and cause random barking/meowing/tweeting. They are plucky and energetic most of the time and then spend a great deal of time in a sleep-like state. You will feel warmth around you at times when they are resting, but otherwise may feel something brush past you or play in your hair.
C: The chirping is my favorite! So what do they enjoy as offerings?
M: They love apples, socks, and berries. If you give them any or all of these, you’re going to have an extremely happy companion. I’ve even seen humans offer cherries and cupcakes which get a great reception.
C: And on that note, any good bonding activities?
M: Nature. Anything to do with nature. Fold laundry. Eat dessert. Do things that make you happy. They will be with you anywhere you choose to go and will always interact with their environment. They are the most low-maintenance companion ever because they are always happy, and thrive on either being around happy people or fielding negative energies away from those suffering with sadness or anger.
C: So what kind of reputation do they have on your plane?
M: They are exceedingly good luck if they come to you eagerly and don’t attack. If you see one wander onto your land, it’s a good sign and one will often spread the news to their friends. They aren’t exactly an entity we let our young hang around with, as it is hard to tell at first whether or not you have the ‘wild’ variety or the more ‘domestic’ variety. It is easier to tell for those not on our plane as the colorations and auras are vastly different looking to you.
C: So what drew you to work with them, Mira?
M: Listen...so when I was much younger I was the type to do whatever I was told not to do. I wandered into the woods and caves every chance I got, and one time found a little red fella under a pile of rocks. Me being me, I thought “Oh dear, the wee thing is trapped...” WRONG, young me, so wrong. So I took all the boulders off the dear thing and an energy ball shot out and spooked me half to death. I decided to inch closer and pet it. I’ll say that I’m surprised that we got along well, this was one of the wilder variety, but after coming back and leaving shiny stones and sweets for awhile, she warmed up to me. Now she is my companion, and she has helped me communicate with a lot of other entities in her species. My mother was terrified, but my father was overjoyed. I have been a ‘specialist’ ever since. *laughs*
C: So is there anything that would surprise someone about meebul companionship?
M: They act a great deal like cats, honestly, though many think they look like earth’s dogs.They are very communicative, generally affectionate, great energy workers, but they are very independent. They will wander. There will be times the pendulum won’t swing. Go check your cupboards or wait around, they decided to take a jaunt around the place and will be back soon.
C: So is there anything else you’d like to mention?
M: They are hilarious. I honestly think they are such a joy to work with, just be patient if communication doesn’t come easy. They are around, trust me, and they are not going to get upset that you can’t hear them communicate. They will still get what they want out of the scenario as long as they can either make you happy or take some of the negative vibes away from you and be near you. They crave physical closeness most of all, and that you can give without knowing it. They are quite physical in manifestation so you will eventually feel/see/sense them in this way.
