So after a lengthy attempt by my dad....a technological wizard with computers practically I.T. of the house.......I may have lost 500 gigabytes of information from my terabyte. Now most of that is just music and funny vids I've downloaded over the years. Not a huge loss. But also photos I've professionally taken since high school, artistic references and sketches I've prepped for digitalizing, all of the fanfictions that I may or may not have posted, all the evidence of community service I use for applications, letters of recommendations, college papers and outlines that keep me in the good graces of APA, family photos, etc. My dad knows peeps more specialized than him with modern tech, so he's awesome and using his discount to get it seen by friends of his, see if we can recover anything.
