The original video isn’t on youtube that I can find, but emergency awesome has the clip in his explanation video. At the same time, we know the big bad won’t be a speedster this season, so I don’t know if we’ll get August or Meena yet. We’ll see, though. (PS- I LOVE AVERY!)

I really don't want Iris to go dark. Yes, confront her feelings and what happened, but to me she's now one of the few characters on the show who hasn't gone dark, who has held one to her, i guess herself. Her motives are and have always been love. Which reminds me, could you make an Iris gifset with Wonder Woman's quote about believing in Love. That fits Iris so well.

She won’t have a reason to really go dark, I think. I just want to see her really express herself and take actions based on her feelings. But I agree with you about her motivations, and I would love to make that set when I have time!

I don't think Barry will be gone for any longer than 2 episodes. I could see them having the first episode be recapping the summer without Barry and then showing how everybody (especially Iris) is 5 months later (in October). Then the end of the premiere could show Barry in the SF and/or Iris figuring out how to get him out. And then the second episode, he'd get out. Although, given how long Flashpoint lasted, I wouldn't be surprised (nor would I complain) if he's out in the premiere.

I hope your first version happens, but I agree that he could easily be out by the end of the premiere.
