It was not the first time Karkat had walked into a room without announcing himself first, but this was certainly going to be the last. Something about seeing Meenah massaging and kneading Tavros Nitram's ass globes in her hands like she was making a God Damned loaf of bread struck him as pretty fucking high on shit he would care not to see again. Following his swift turn on one heel to leave the room were high-pitched obnoxious laughter that could only come from Meenah and the desperate pleas from Tavros that it's not what it looks like and that his butt is just sore from learning how to twerk, both of which fell on voluntarily deaf ears.

1) Tavros<3

Okay this is another one of my blackrom OTP’s that sadly, I’m pretty much the only person who ships. 

From what I understand about Meenah’s character, she tends to target people who appear weak. She’ll poke them and make fun of them because she’s hatched a natural bully. That doesn’t mean that she’s uncaring or unfriendly, it’s just a manifestation of how aggressive she is in personality. When she meets someone, she pushes at them, sort of like a test to see whether or not they’re worthy of her attention. 

So imagine, if you will, Meenah thinking that this unassuming person is going to do something she wants, only to figure out that he won’t do it at all. She’d have a hell of a time with it and if there’s anything Meenah can appreciate in a person, it’s strength of will. She’ll catch the Vriska disease and start wanting to get his attention and then get addicted to it. 

Also, if you don’t think that Meenah has a thing for snarky assholes, look at her interest in Karkat.

Then you turn it around to Tavros being confronted with a person who has all the confidence, all the willpower and leadership skills to make things she wants happen and she squanders them on selfish pursuits. If you don’t think personality traits like that would piss off Tavros, I don’t know what will. 

Holy shit, you’ve got the makings of a really awesome blackrom here. WHY DON’T MORE PEOPLE SHIP IT. 

2) Tavros<3Equius

In my mind, Equius has an admiration for people who are enthusiastic about things that they love. I think it’s because it’s opposite of what he’s like but really, the way that he wants to be himself. 

Though it might be childish and everyone tells him that it’s stupid to do so, Tavros loves fantasy and adventure with everything he’s got. Why wouldn’t Equius appreciate that? I’d say that if there were any person that Equius didn’t have to TRY so hard to be around, it’d be Tavros. 

Also, they’d bond over weird furry porn but see nothing but art when they look at it. Everyone would be freaked out but Tav and Eq wouldn’t care. 

3) Tavros<>Eridan

If there’s one thing that Eridan desperately needs, it’s someone who will listen to him and not make him feel as though his problems are a waste of time. He needs someone who can sit there and painstakingly help him seperate his emotions from logic because we all know that once Eridan lets his emotions dictate, he gets funnel vision and ends up doing stupid shit. That being said, if you can appeal to Eridan’s sense of logic, he can still be reasoned with and calmed down.

Enter Tavros, someone who has a level head and an astonishing amount of patience just waiting to be channeled somewhere. 

I can see Eridan being able to lower his guard around Tavros, since Tav doesn’t make him feel the need to challenge and prove what a big badass highblood he is all the time. He can be himself and maybe, feel at better ease if he gets swindled into doing stupid childish things.
