Species or Blood Status: halfblood Loyalty: order of the phoenix Boggart: severed hand walking on its own Wand: 12” acacia wood w/ oak handle and a unicorn hair core Patronus: brown bear Previous Hogwarts/Alternate School House: gryffindor Describe one memory: The day his acceptance letter came his mother collapsed in a puddle of tears on their kitchen floor. She couldn’t give her baby to wizards she’d never even known existed. His dad pulled him out onto the porched and knelt before him. He explained everything; what the grand hall would look like, the classes he could take, the secret box of treats his buddies had always kept in their dormitory. Dean was in awe but couldn’t shake the muffled sobs of his mother. Describe their life from the Wars ending: Dean desperately clung to what he knew after the war ended. He flew everyday and painted until he’d collapse into bed each night. He was directionless and exhausted until the word came that diagon alley’s broomshop was closing down. That broomshop was the last piece of normal he had and he wouldn’t let it go. He found himself sitting in the keepers office the next day and plead his way into buying the store with the little money his father had left him.
