I love Glitch giving us new Murder Drones content and stuff (shorts, merch etc), but a big part of me feels kinda sour about the amount of content we're getting that won't sum up to anything significant other than character development we should have gotten IN THE ACTUAL SHOW. And also just merch that feels not as genuine when it's plugged to a show that won't be getting continued ever
I know that this isn't what the team intends when they do this but a big part of me feels like the fandom is having salt rubbed on it's wounds
The Murder Drones we love so much is so good but it's also so flawed, and when it did have the opportunity to be re-written (in the comics) it got even worse in basically every way (though the artwork is extremely good, basically everything else is lackluster)
Idk, I know that I take things in this fandom too seriously sometimes but it's genuinely a very personal thing for me and seeing it be left behind without it's full potential being reached + small crumbs of content being given out for the pure purpose of plugging merch is very painful
