Going to start peaking my squat, bench, and deadlift for my meet in April. Running 10 week cycle, with 1 rest week. Time to put the metal to the pedal.
Went a bit conservative with where I am right now since my back is still healing. I'll be squatting twice a week with a straight bar to get more reps back in since I've been mainly sticking with the safety squat bar, buffalo bar, and cambered bar since my injury. We'll see how things go.
Other things that'll be happening in my training - addition of lots of block work for my deadlift since my lockout has sucked. I've been relying on my speed off the floor so much to lock it out and the fact that I haven't held anything over 600 in my hands since pre-injury is just having my deadlift kind of blow right now. Pre-meet I'd like to see this in the high 600's from a 3-4 inch block.
Bench - need to start working off boards and out of a slingshot. A lot of how much I drop out and how quickly will depend on how my elbows hold up.
Accessory - abs are weak gotta fix that.
