Nikki, of course, didn’t feel like coming to Lusties. And Tiffany had said she was busy with schoolwork (technically, she should have been too: but that would have required giving a shit about university). So, she decided the best course of action would be to crash at the Maye apartment until it was time to go home.

That’s all he requires on his end; the partner just has to be willing to stoop low enough to date a loser like him, and insistent enough to want to date even after he tells them about how much better they could do. Mark doesn’t think too highly of himself, but if his partner did, well, that might help matters quite a bit.

Absolutely not. Mark’s family was extremely wealthy, and he has no issue tapping into that wealth by blackmailing his father. Even if he didn’t have access to that money, wealth has never particularly mattered to Mark anyway.

Affection is the big way for Mark. He’s not too keen on affection or physical contact from people he’s not extremely comfortable with; when he actually seeks affection from someone and desires it, then that means they’re more important to him than anyone else in the world.

He’s never been all too fond of it before, since he’s never been in a relationship before. He’s always seen it as a reminder that he’s too much of a coward to confess his feelings to anyone he’s ever had a crush on. Now, if he had a date, then he might like Valentine’s Day a bit more…
