A 10 Day "Meet Yourself" Challenge
We often know, solidly, what our friends like, who they are, what they enjoy doing. Sometimes we know these things about people we don't particularly care for. I thought I knew a lot about myself until I got on social media and filled out those bios and "things I like" pages. I could fill them all out, but would often have more specific things to say than what was offered. So, this challenge is designed to pick your brain and help you appreciate you, and what aids in your expression of self. Start where you want, do as many as you like. Have fun, there's no pressure or time frame!
Using paint sample cards, online or in-store, find a colour palette that calls to you. Make a few if you want to! If you can't see colour for whatever reason, choose fabric textures or chords in music!
Make a playlist of songs that you relate to in some way. Name it something like "Essence of Your Name".
Find or take some selfies that make you feel attractive (or whatever else you want to feel). Put them in a collage or photo set, and give them the same filter if you want (I personally like b&w).
Have a personal sigil or seal? If not, make one! If you do, use an artistic medium of your choice to display or showcase it.
EDITED: Have you ever felt a melody strike a chord in your heart (badum tsss)? Or maybe a set of colours in a necklace or beaded windchine? Find something of this nature, something indescribable yet very tangible. So your best to form a detailed melody or artistic creation, and keep it as a signature of you!
Have some signature scents? Makeup colours? Style of clothes? Make an image collage of the visuals, include textiles if you want to, and create a scent strip with perfume or other scented things on it.
Make a box—small or large, whatever floats your boat—and put in mini versions of things you love. This doesn't necessarily have to be a coping skills toolbox, which is what I'm basing this on, but you can include things that just bring your mood up, too. Movies, images, essential oils, etc.
Have a favourite blanket, stuffed animal, or even coffee mug? Draw it. If you can't or don't want to draw it, sit and analyze it. Why do you think it's your favourite?
9. If you haven't already, you can calculate your natal chart and read through descriptions of each house and planet. If you want a project, you can attempt to draw it by hand! I used astro.com for mine! All you need is your birthdate, time of birth, and location of your birth.
Take your palm prints! This works great with roll on ink, but stamping ink works okay, and paint a little less so. Or, you can take a picture and edit them to be starkly contrasting black and white lines!
Stop preparing. Stop brushing off the mess. There is only now. Embrace it as you are. words by the lovely @talia_sutra This is why I practice. To let my anxiety go to stop preparing for all the what if’s so I can remember to be in this moment right here and now perfect just as it is. “Travel far enough, you meet yourself.”

one of my favourite c-drama ♡
i hate how this drama wasn't hyped that much internationally... many people really is missing out this masterpiece..
When we are in tune with ourselves we will notice that during our life we will come into contact with the desire to start something new. The idea of a "new beginning" is inevitably linked to the concept of the end. A difficult day ends, we suffocate in a superficial relationship, we get tired of a job that no longer covers us and the moment comes when we can recall with amazing clarity the steps we need to follow in order to "finish" what is preventing us from joy, evolution, meaning. This is the easy part. A more difficult one follows. To take action, to endure the pain of separations that will arise, to focus our gaze on what is in front of us, to move forward with faith and trust. With every new step in the new direction, with every choice that supports our decision, we mature and evolve. Despite the pain we discover a new energy inside us and as the journey has already begun we know we have made the right decision: "To become and also to live with the best version of ourselves" #omnamahshivaya 🙏🏻 www.angelosanandayoga.com #meetyourself #letitgo #transformyourlife #daretochange #bestyou #newbeginnings #yogaeverywhere #yogaeveryday #meninyoga #yogapractice #evolve #loveyourself #bekindtoyourself #selfacceptance #changeisgood #yogateacher #yogaretreats #yogaberlin #job #relationship #selfcare https://www.instagram.com/p/CqXSkkjsRBQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
just completed this masterpiece >.<
do you ever feel alone
standing in the road
don't know where to go
in the air my memories flow
faces in a row
take a long way home
but all of this remind me to believe
no one stay or leave
and all of this remind me to receive
life we can see
la la la la la la la la
the sun will rise and fall
la la la la la la la la
it's just another day
