Jun got a shelter cat in his final year at penn state actually!!! named her mickey (like the mouse, bc he thinks he's funny) ((he's really not)) she's like? 9 years old? got abandoned by her old owners bc she was too loud (and that was because she was taken from her mother at just a couple of months and her new owners didnt bother to feed her according to what she needed) shelter took her in and then jun did because he collects abandoned kids from abusive settings wanted to do something good with his life + he was having a 'oh no!!! ill be out of college soon' crisis

zahra, no. the timing didn't check out. she wanted a dog when she was younger but she knew that she wouldn't be able to spare time to take care of one. after the nest she had enough problems of her own to deal with before taking in a pet.

24) What kind of sleeper is your OC? Light or heavy? What side do they sleep on? Do they like to sleep over or under the covers?

zahra sleeps on her side, not necessarily curled up, but completely under the covers. diagram for reference:

the reason for this is something along the lines of how she did not want to be left vulnerable while she slept at the nest. shes learning how to let herself be a heavy sleeper.

jun sleeps curled up, generally without sheets, because its somehow always too hot for him?? (i say his constant academic stress overheats his brain- you'd think that someone who's interested in psych would have better mechanisms to deal with it but nooo). he's also a pretty heavy sleeper.
