Nominate your favorite milks! Your submission can be changed up until the form closes. Sign in was required to discourage ballot stuffing, b

Signing in with Google is required and you will only be able to submit one form with up to five nominations. It's set up this way to discourage ballot stuffing. Your form will still be anonymous! And you can edit it afterwards if you want. I'll only tabulate nominations after the form is closed.

Currently, I'm planning to keep the form open until April 22.

Thank you (all two of you) for your patience while I carefully analyzed the nominations. The first few polls are posted! Before round one can start in earnest, we need to run our division qualifiers! These qualifiers will determine which among the low seeds will go on to face the high seeds in the main bracket. Most of the competitors have already been set, so don't worry if you don't see your nomination yet!

We have four divisions:

Dairy division

All unflavored milks originating from a female mammal

Plant division

All unflavored plant-based milks

Flavor division

All flavored milks, regardless of base milk type

??? division

A secret surprise division that will be revealed after the qualifiers

In an ideal world, each round would last 3 days, but alas, we are bound by the limitations of the platform. If there's a way to make polls last an amount of time other than 1 day or 1 week, I don't know how to do it.

Worth noting the qualifiers were set to last a week, partially to give the blog time to pick up steam ahead of round one, and partially to give me time to make a whole lot of graphics.

To put things in perspective: if every round lasts one day, the tournament will last less than a week (plus the time it takes to make intermediate graphics and queue up polls, so probably more like a week and a half), and if every round lasts one week, the tournament will last a little over a month up to two months depending on downtime between rounds.

Oh, in case it wasn't quite clear: the qualifiers are to sort between the bottom seeds to ensure the most balanced bracket. Top seeds (such as oat milk, chocolate milk, and 2% milk) have already been set and will be revealed along with the full bracket in the lead-up to round one!
