She’s finally ascended to her final form! :D
Started a Mega Moemon Fire Red nuzlocke yesterday. For those unaware, Mega Moemon takes Fire Red as a base, and adds a bunch of pokemon and features from future gens, such as fairy type, physical/special split, mega evolutions, etc. while changing the team makeups of many characters to include new pokemon and make the game a little more challenging. For example, Brock has a lileep instead of a geodude (this is actually my second attempt, that lileep ended my first one). And of course, replaces all the pokemon sprites with cute anime girls (wish it also included cute anime boys but whatever, my boys can have tiddies if they want I guess).
Since I named myself Bread, and named my rival Beer (because he’s Liquid Bread. Get it?) I decided to just go all in on the food names for this game.
Honorable mentions for the fallen.
Biscuit actually fell to Lager cause I forgot she starts with a fighting type move. Nugget got taken out by a crit, the bane of all nuzlockers...
Caught a marill named Blueberry, however before we made much progress she was taken out by a critical hit. She was avenged by Honeybunch, who then wanted to learn Rage. I decided against it, but it seemed fitting. Honeybunch, being the only boy on the team, is very protective of his sisters.
Moemon Update
Finally in the mood to play this damn game.
Current Team before a Grind for the Rival Fight on Route 22.
Sentret’s the only one that I caught out of the ordinary, but there were Poochyena, Zigzagoon, and Spoink just out in the grass.
Just an FYI, I’m playing Mega Moemon and this goes by Pokemon X/Y logic, where catching Pokemon nets you experience, which is a pretty neat mechanic I’m glad Gamefreak blessed us with and now romhackers can do too.
Things are going a little bad, and by a little I mean a lot. I’m down to my last two moemon, henceforth known as Team Honey BBQ. Considering we have to face Misty soon, hopes are not high, but gosh darnit if we’re going down, we’re going down fighing!
Caught a Treecko, however due to a miscalculation on my part, lost Lager in the process...
