A crab megalops larva! Zooplankton are always fun to draw on black backgrounds - you can see so much more of their structure.
An oldish picture I drew this summer

so next year will be the first year my college has ever had a rowing team and I'm doing it-- what do you suggest for workouts to get into better shape? I'm pretty fit already, but in a runner sort of way.
that's awesome! running is pretty good, because you need that aerobic threshold! plus you can do things that target your quads, like jumping squats aka jumpies. lifting weights will help too, especially if they target your back (the bent over row sounds like it would be good for rowing lol) and having a strong core is also important for strong finishes, so just your average ab workouts will be gooooood....that's kind of all i can think of, and i'm certainly no fitness expert soo if this is all wrong/anyone wants to add anything, feel free to do sooo :)
