Haven’t drawn anything in over 3 months annnnd it shows. This 1 hour figure study took me like 2.5 hours to get through after accounting for all the breaks I took in between and I hate almost everything about it. This was like pulling teeth for me. The last guy is one of my favourite models and I get so pumped when he shows up in the rotation, but I just couldn’t do him justice this time around because I was rusty and frustrated about being rusty. I was rustrated. I was frusty. So his right arm isn’t shaded in very well and also just kind of floating off his torso, which I made way too long and I still can’t seem to figure out anatomy and value and weight and light. I’m just (poorly) copying down what I see.
