Singapore Mei Fun
Yesterday I ate SO MANY sautéed onions.
We went to a tiny place called Asian House, where I had Mongolian Shrimp. It had carrots, broccoli, scallions, and what I can only describe as an entire large onion, sliced and sautéed, in a spicy brown gravy over Mei Fun. Amazingly delicious.
My herb book says onions are “an agent for expelling gas from the body.” Meaning they don’t give you gas, you have it already. The onions just make it come out.
They don’t affect me that way.
But I’m sure glad Wolf didn’t eat them all.
