In today‘s Lucerne newspaper there is a long article on Swiss rock music history in Switzerland 1969-1987. With a list of the 50 most important records Flame Dream is listed among the 50 most important albums at 35. Flame Dream released six albums from 1978 to 1986, most notable 1978’s " «Calatea» and 1981’s «Out In The Dark». «Rock had to knock twice» naming my old Lozärner, Weggis, Kriens progressive rock band I played guitar in Flame Dream rated at number 35. _____ Translation: 69 «Rock had to knock twice» The rebellious sound was late in the sleepy Switzerland. But a little over 50 years ago. We went on a search for traces in the eventful time of the almost forgotten generation of founders. Who was the first Swiss rock musician? Hotel Eden is now refurbished into a expensive classy apartment duplex condos called the Residence Eden.
