I was told not to love him
You’d been warned about getting involved with Meisner. He’s mission oriented, dedicated to the cause, focused. There’s no room for anything else, for anybody else.
“You scratch an itch.” Sebastian had told you late one night when you were collating the intelligence reports. “He’ll never he able to love you.”
He’s right, you know he is because the name that Meisner calls when he’s fucking you it isn’t yours. It’s hers. The woman he’s fighting for, the one he’s mourning.
It’s why he slips from your sheets in the aftermath, why he won’t look at you, speak to you.
“You don’t realise how much you look like her.” Sebastian says as he drops down into the seat beside you and opens his wallet. The picture he pulls out is creased and faded, it comes from an old polaroid camera. It’s an image of the three of them, Sebastian, Meisner and her, Lyra, the woman he’d thought he was going to marry. “My sister was the love of his life, I’m sorry but he’s never gotten over her death.”
The two of you are similar, the eyes, the lips, the hair…
Yours is a little longer but the colouring is the same. He likes to run his fingers through it as he kisses you, tug it just a little at the height of climax because it makes you moan like a whore.
Now you know it’s not just something you like, she must have liked it as well.
His Lyra, the woman you can never replace.
You leave that night, your duffle bag slung over your shoulder as you slip the note underneath his door.
I’m sorry but I can’t be who you want me to be.

Spoiler alert: Grimm NBC
I just finished Grimm and let me tell you THIS IS HOW SHOWS ARE SUPPOSED TO END.
You give me heartbreak, angst, mystery, rage, vengeance, plot twists and major character deaths. I'm all for it. But in the end, let it MEAN for something.
This show delivered everything so so perfectly, I teared up and then was smiling because I was so happy how they concluded it. They didn't stretch it or milked it till it became boring. They ended it on a good note.
This is what viewers deserve when they theow themselves into these stories, all that involvement has to mean for something in the end.
I can't tell you how satisfied I am with this show.
Holy fuck I'd forgotten how good it felt to have a happy ending!!
This show was pure gold from the very start to the end. It kept us hooked even though there was different story going around in the personal life of the character. It didn't stray from it's path, the drama and mystery was consistent. PURE SOLID GOLD!
(My only regret is that Juliette and Nick didn't end up together. Though, I knew that after the part she played in Kelly's death it'd be impossible for them to be together but I still wanted it. A bit too much.)
She's so adorable and such a badass. God it broke my heart to see her cry for Meisner, cuz tbh SAME.
This bromance was everything honestly.
Rosalee is suchhhh a good friend, I love that she is everything altogether. Caring and a strong female character who don't need no one. And that's what makes her relationship with Monroe so beautiful, they are so in love.
I hated her, I liked her. So many mixed feelings. She gave me the 100's Murphy "cockroach" having-a-tendency-for-survival-no-matter-what vibes. You can throw whatever, she'll still come out alive.
Bruh this guy never knew what he's supposed to be doing, started out as a mastermind and then got so confused. But stayed an interesting character throughout. I loved watching him on screen.
These characters brought it to life honestly, i cherished their love and loyalty to Nick so much.
God I LOVED HER as Juliette, hated her as Hexenbeist Juliette and then loved her again as Eve. Her redemption arc made me tear up so bad, "No regrets"
Then THIS GOOFBALL. I absolutely love him, all of the time one tragedy after another all i could think was goddamn it let him rest ffs. Such courage to do and be good but still seeing the reality and dealing with morals, ADMIRABLE. (I love how in-love he is with Juliette, that even in the end he asks her if she's sure they're better off apart)
Straight up one of the most badass character ever! Fuxking hated it how she died, but she died for her cause which made me feel a bit better and SO ANGRY at hexenbeist!Juliette.
I'll rant more i guess but not now, ugh i feel like i just crossed over to different world. I WANNA GO BACK!!!!
acting cannot be taught. It can only be learned through self-education. In other words – by doing.
