#Repost @mekaking ・・・ So about last night... I didn't tell you guys, buuuut THIS HAPPENED! Ha! I met the maestro himself. BROTHA @brunomars! OMG! What! Yeah no big deal...just hung out with the band backstage for a little bit! I told Bruno I wanted to audition to be the first female in the band. The first girl Hooligan. He said ok, lemme see what you got. I proceeded to dance and well...we know how that went. Hahaha! He laughed. I think I got the moves tho! Don't believe me, JUST WATCH! Haaaa! I got to see my brother @zadehlawrence do his thing! So proud of this dude. He started with us back at Disney in the Lion King. Now he writes, arranges, sings and tours with Bruno. Come on now! He is Killing The Game! It was awesome to celebrate him with our FOLK Family! And my Otown brother Byron Chambers was there too...this guy is living the dream as well! He's the talkbox voice you hear at the beginning of 24 Karat Magic and he did the opener for the tour. He gave me some simple but profound advice last night that I really appreciated. "Just stick with it. Keep doing it. Don't quit. Keep doing what you love and one day the doors will start to open. That's all I did. I just stuck with it. I didn't stop." That really resonated with me. Good things come to those who DON'T QUIT! So yeah guys. Last night was a dream and I got to experience it all with my best friend of 25 years, @shawntaehardy. It felt like we were back in high school screaming like 2 teenage girls! Haaa! Oh and the part where 2 people didn't show up to sit in their Box Level seats, soooo we sat nice and comfy and closer than our original seats! Ha! What a night! I thank God for making even the small dreams of my heart come true.
