Book Review #35 of 2026--
Milk & Mocha: Our Little Moments by Melanie Sie. Rating: 5 stars.
Read on March 14th.
Before I get into the review, a quick thank you to both NetGalley and the publishers over at Andrews McMeel Publishing for allowing me access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I feel like you can't exist on the internet without knowing about Milk & Mocha. This is the second comic collection in this series. Our Little Moments focuses on the small moments in a relationship that actually mean so much. Milk & Mocha: Our Little Moments comes out on June 23rd and is available for preorder now.
I'll keep the review short and sweet since this is a comic collection. I'm finding as I get older I'm actually enjoying these collections more than I would when I was younger. I think part of that comes from existing in bookish spaces as a young girl and trying to be taken seriously. But getting older means I don't care what people think about what I'm reading, how I'm reading, or me in general. So, yes, I will check out the Calvin and Hobbes collection from the library, and I will request the ARC of a cute bear comic and I'll be loving it the whole time. There's just something so REAL about these bears. The comics always seem to echo something in the real world that I've experienced and it's always so cute and cozy. I love Milk and Mocha so much. They both have such distinct personalities and so much love for each other.
I hope we keep getting Milk & Mocha comics and we keep getting to see our own love reflected back at us in the form of two little bears.
