A couple hours here and there and finally finished 😀. Waiting for ordered fabric for binding. Learnt a lot about using my #simply16. Used some bottom line pre-wound bobbins that came with my machine and really liked them. Ta da ! Could hardly fit on my wall! As I used loominous 1 fq bundle I combined some prints to have enough to do each round so it's not the same as pattern but I still like it. It's also maybe 1 or 2 rounds less! 😳#annamariahorner #loominousfabric #loominous #modernquilt #melbmqg

Secret project reveal finally! It has been gifted today. My daughter purchased all the fabrics and pattern for her best friend. I just put it together. I was actually getting a little attached as it’s been hanging on my wall for a couple of weeks 😆. It has a soft minky backing. I copied the quilting design on the elephant from one I saw on Pinterest that I loved but can’t find who made it. Wanted to keep it modern so in the background kept it straight lines. Pattern by @violetcraft was amazing. Went together perfectly. Their are a couple colour mistakes I made but didn’t notice till too late. Have fun finding them. 😀.
