the thing that gets me is that carlos didnt gain anything from the collision & alonso didnt lose anything from it—if carlos got a penalty that means it's impacted the person he collided with in some way, but the order was reset & alonso got his positions back. so what's the use of the penalty? to me its reset the order and forgo the penalty or dont reset the order & give carlos the penalty. thats it......... i still believe it shouldve been treated as a first lap incident bc its a standing start
+ u can argue that he caused gasly's crash too but gasly just rejoined badly & went off on his own so. yeah theres that.
