F1 2026
oscar crash in recon lap? nico dropped out of grid??? what the fuck is going ON
Watching qualifing (bc no I'm not waking up at 5 in the morning for that) and HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
Ik he's friends with Kimi but there's no need to crash just so he got a chance to take part in quali 🤣
Maybe Lindblad is the driver with the upper hand here. He's coming into new regs with no real race experience in a previous F1 car. Yes, he'd have been in them in the simulator and he had practice sessions last season...but realistically the rest have to adapt to the new car which by Lando's words is a lot more similar to the feeder series cars...which Lindblad has been driving more recently.
The Upgrade Makes Drivers Commit Earlier
Track upgrades are never just paint and kerbs. They change confidence, braking points, and how brave a driver has to be to attack.
This piece breaks down the 2026 Albert Park layout changes and why the circuit can feel faster and more punishing at the same time.
Albert Park upgrade makes Melbourne 2026 a nerve test: Turn 6 at 219 km h, the 1.3 km Lakeside run, and a 2026 rule reset that raises risk.
when i win the lottery we’re allllll going to the piastri grandstand
Doing some research for the drawing of Melbourne track (yes, I'm doing posters depicting F1 tracks as flower crowns made of local flora, scroll down to see my take at Silverstone). This is what I've picked so far: Royal Bluebell (Wahlenbergia gloriosa) Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha) pink form of the Common Heath (Epacris impressa) Not sure if I'll use all three types of flowers, for now it's just an idea. If any actual aussies wants to pitch their case for inclusion/exclusion of specific flowers, I'd like to hear from you!
