Imma just say it

I think Monaco should ALWAYS be a sprint weekend.

Let bfr for a hot sec.

The best part of Monaco is ALWAYS qualifying (not even the race is the best part) so why not have TWO qualifying sessions? Also have two races.

Sure maybe it would take away from the big win of the GP, I personally don’t actually think it would. But idc, Monaco is as boring of a race for drivers as it is for the fans. Fans have even wanted to get rid of Monaco in recent years. But I think a simple weekend reorganisation would do wonders and be exactly what we need to put life back into the race again.

More points on the table for the championship, as mentioned TWO qualifying sessions meaning twice the excitement. Made FP1 like 1 hr 30 mins to make up for the loss of practice time and boom the Monaco weekend has just become so much better.

Other people may disagree but idc, I think my idea is brilliant 🤣

I'm not sure if I'm just not seeing the posts...but I feel like no one is discussing Franco's recent improvement when compared to Pierre and it's not just this weekend. It's been a couple races now.

For months we heard constant praise about Gasly and how Franco was nowhere...but now the narrative is swapped but I'm not seeing anything be said about Franco that's the same level of praise.

Idk I'm not a massive fan of either of them so I have no reason to praise over the other, but I just don't get why his improvement in form is hardly being addressed other than very very brief comments.

I just KNOW Lando is standing there with those Merc drivers so overwhelmingly happy that it's not him and Oscar anymore. Like winning against your teammate always comes with that chatter online. But he gotta be so relieved he got the title last year and now he's letting another two drivers take the limelight trying to put words and thoughts in their mouths and heads 🤣

Unpopular opinion warning!!!!

Was watching practice and the commentator said "we want as many champions on the grid as possible" when talking about Lewis saying he won't be retiring and Max saying he intends to stay on (I'd still be surprised if he doesn't leave at the end of 2027 but meh).

However, I disagree with that sentiment anyway. I don't want as many championships on the grid as possible. I find the bloodlust of a driver who doesn't have a championship far better for the sport than a driver who is a champion going for multiple. Like removing personalities and support of your fave driver, it's simply better competition and entertainment which ultimately is what sports is about. Yes, there's an argument that legacy also plays a part and it does. But I'd take more rookies over Lewis and Fernando sticking around for longer in some very obvious unspoken competition to refuse to retire until the other does (ik that's not how most people see it but that's deffo the vibe I personally get from them).

Anyway purely for quality of racing and sport...more non-champions>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>more champions on the grid. ALWAYS.

And no Lewis and Max leaving the sport is not suddenly going to make F1 bankrupt bc people won't watch. People watches before Lewis and Max and actually the fans who would stop watching bc they left are probably the toxic fans we could all be better without being part of the F1 community bc they're not genuine fans of the sport if they only watch bc of one driver.

At least my retirement from writing F1 & NHL fics comes with F1 finally fucking giving us another race. Ik the drivers hate having so many races but as a fan I would love one every weekend and I'm going to say it, I feel deprived of F1 this year 😭

People are pulling CRAZY work

I'm not a fan of George's but calling him a car merchant bc Kimi is winning is ridiculous...like the fact I'm defending him is really a bit of a emphasis on how ridiculous this is bc I'd be the first to criticise a driver that I'm not fond of.

George has been winning races since 2022, obviously he didn't in 2023 but 2024 and 2025, he WON RACES without the best car. One could argue that Kimi is the car merchant bc he only won races once they got the best car. Now I wouldn't say that bc last season he was a rookie and had a lot of adapting and adjusting to do and really Mercedes was preparing him for 2026, one could even say they were relying heavily on George to carry the team and he did, to multiple podiums and a couple wins.

Now do I think George is the best on the grid? No. Do I think he would've been winning races at Kimi's age if he'd been brought up early? No, not really George has taken a long time to get to this point of ability in his career. But does he rely on the car to bring him results? No, at least not anymore than the likes of Max, Lando, Charles, Oscar and Lewis do. So unless you're going to start calling the entire grid car merchants (which honestly they kind of are...like unless a driver is really bad, in a good car most of the grid is taking wins)

Yes, Kimi is amazingly talented and thriving. But there's no evidence at all to suggest George is a "car merchant" and in fact there's more evidence stacked up to suggest he isn't. So people just need to get a grip tbh.

If the whole evading taxes thing is true...then the people to blame are the team and drivers accountants bc people must be out of their damn minds if they think any of them are hands on handing their tax bills 🤣

These are millionaires and teams worth BILLIONS. You think Lewis Hamilton sits down and goes through all his documents for his taxes? you think Lando Norris does that? Or Max Verstappen?

These stories being written like the drivers and teams genuinely had something to do with it. Like bruh, they are so rich they are the type of peoeple don't even check their bank accounts to know how much they got bc they ALWAYS got enough money.

And yes they are tax evaders but only in the sense that they move to tax havens, they will not be evading taxes they have to pay as part of their fucking jobs.
