Ok, so Melbourne Hat is done!
Finished 19th, so the quality of play left a little to be desired on our parts, but had loads of fun and caught up with awesome people!

First day of Melbourne Hat.
Sunscreen slabbed on.
Names called.
Synthetic field.
Team name.
Pat in the Hat.
First game.
Slide on the end zone.
Knees skinned off.
Scored a point.
At least it's something.
All taped up.
Sweat.
Taped dropped off. Annoyed.
Five games.
Two wins. One draw. Two loses.
Sunburned cheeks.
Dinner. Spit roast.
Tired.
Cold shower.
Paint nails.
Party.
It's midnight.
Walked home.
Time for bed.
Second day.
Windy as fuck.
First game of the day.
Felt like shit.
Ligament of the ankle tore.
Taped up.
Slide on the end zone again.
Knees bleed.
Bad luck though.
Three games.
Two wins. One loss.
Finals.
Pizza and apple cider.
Hugs and cheers.
Hip, Hip, Hooray!
Hey, are you watching this?
You've been missed by people here.
I hope you know.
I'm glad you finally found peace.
I knew I made a good decision not taking my shoe off mid-tournament.
Half my bloody toenail’s come off.
Shit, ay!
Melbourne Hat 2012 was awesome, had a great time and my feet were dead afterwards. Now in Geelong for a conference which has had AMAZING food so far and some not so boring talks. Can't wait to be home though :)
