I FELT TERRIBLE FOR KILLING HIM OFF LIKE THAT!!! T_T I just know he would wrestle with the choice throughout the whole game before deciding to sacrifice himself at the very end. He secretly does care about you. :(

Scaramouche suggests the both of you find someone else to partner up with for the next game. At first you’re against it because it feels like something bad might happen if the two of you separate. You’ve stuck together for the other games; wouldn’t it be easier to stay together in case anything happens? But he’s insistent on it and you eventually agree to pair up with someone else. You find someone and so does he and the game begins. It’s very shocking when they reveal that there can only be one winner out of the two and you’re so relieved that you and Scara chose to split up for this game. Had you chosen to stay together… You shiver at the thought.

You play a fair game with your partner and you end up winning, but there isn’t any relief to be felt yet. You still have no clue whether or not Scara won. You hope that that’s the case as you return to the dorm, feeling more anxious than ever. The rest of the surviving players file in and you search through the crowd for Scara. At first you don’t see him and panic strikes you down. Did he lose? Did his partner cheat somehow? Is he even alive anymore?

Luckily you spot him just before you can spiral into more scary thoughts. You’re so happy that he survived, so much so that you rush over to him and give him your biggest, most relieved smile. Things look a lot less bleak now that you know he’ll be joining you in the next game.

Omg just imagine how tense the glass stepping stones game is if he ends up being one of the first few people to go. Maybe he doesn’t make it and ends up falling to his death. Or maybe, by some miracle, he does make it to the other side. Ooh, or maybe you’re right behind him and you can’t remember which glass panel is safe to step on and he tells you which one it is. And you trust him and make the leap and you don’t fall through! I can see him pulling that on a different player. Maybe they were in front of you and also forgot which glass was which, so they ask Scaramouche for help and he tells them which one it is, only for it to be the wrong one.

OR HE PULLS A SANG-WOO AND PUSHES THE PERSON IN FRONT OF HIM!! Aah, you’d probably be shocked when that happens because you see a very cruel and remorseless side to Scaramouche.

Imagine what would happen if you’re the only two left. 😳 Part of me is thinking about how great the angst would be, but the other part is thinking about how good it would be if he didn’t actually care about you in the first place and was just putting on an act so that you’d help him and be there for him. He ends up having a much uglier personality than you thought. If that were the case and Scara betrays you at the end, it would be dramatic and just perfect. Although it is nice to imagine the both of you winning and splitting the money, leaving the game behind and finally going back to your lives. Only this time you now have a best friend to always meet up with. :D

Meanwhile Childe as one of the guards is slowly losing it because each game is more dangerous than the last and you’re literally on the verge of death each time. :,)

Okay, but imagine being one of the lower ranked guards and Childe is your superior and you break one of the rules and!!!!

Welt’s jaw locked just that much further, his voice tight as the woman’s sanguine eyes flickered with interest. Thumb brushing along his lower lip, she hears how his teeth grind together and she chuckles softly. After a moment, her finger slips between those lips and brushes along his tongue much to his great displeasure.

“And if I say no....Will you perhaps bite me, Mr. Yang?”

As if to answer her, she hears the telltale crunch of fabric, then feels him struggling to reel back as her poisoned blood trickles down his chin and down his throat. Her gaze smolders with an unearthly glow, lips curving ever so slightly at the corners.

“That would be quite naughty.”
