☮:Random Headcanon

He pretends not to be, but Mello's self conscious of his scars and will rarely be caught without a shirt. However, the more comfortable he gets around people, the more often he'll be okay with letting his burns show.

♤:'Dislike' Headcanon

There are a lot of things he doesn't like. Mostly Deidara Something that really ticks him off though are people who think they're better than him. He's always had an inferiority complex thanks to Near, but it shifted to people other than the creepy albino kid.

☠:Drinking Headcanon

Mello isn't a huge drinker but becomes more sociable when he does drink. It's easier for him to get over himself, so in turn it's easier for him to talk to people. It still takes a bit to actually get him to start talking to strangers, but with those he already knows he's suddenly more talkative. He's also more emotional, and depending on who he's with he'll start gushing, or talking shit.

Moonstone - What do they do to make it up to someone they wronged?

Mello doesn't snap at that person as often because that he did something wrong to them weighs heavy on his conscious. He feels like he has to, since he doesn't exactly know how to apologize or anything, he thinks that's good enough.

I honestly don't think Mello would do anything to try to attract somebody. Maybe, though, just be nice to them? Smile and not be a total dick.

Moonstone - What do they do to make it up to someone they wronged?

Whoah ouch this hurts.

Mello doesn't really do anything to right his wrongs. I mean, if he knows that he fucked up, he feels really bad about it, but he doesn't exactly know how to apologize or anything. I think he'd just be nicer than normal to that person.

Lapis Lazuli - Would they be a faithful partner?

Hmmm... yeah, I think so. He doesn't really form real connections with other human beings, so if he found somebody that he did take interest in, and that interest went beyond being useful to him, Mello would be faithful as hell to them.

Amber - What gives them courage?

Probably the possibility of him being number one at something. It's kind of sad, actually.

Sapphire - Recall a recent dream

He tapped his chin, and stared at nothing. Small flashes of nightmares mixed in with dreams flooded his mind. Pleasant intertwined with horrible, and his head began to pound. 

None were actual dreams, they were all more like memories. Memories of the days he lived at Wammy's, of Kira's actions, of dying, and watching the people around him die as well.

He sighed and shrugged, palms facing up. "I dunno. I was bathing in chocolate."

☾- Are they prone to nightmares or dreamless sleep?

While he likes to pretend that he doesn't dream at all, when he sleeps, Mello tends to have nightmares. They aren't vivid or anything, but most of them have to do with explosions and people dying.

☼ - Something that/Someone who makes them happy.

Chocolate makes him happy... well happier. Hanging out with Matt, too, relaxes him and makes him feel like a normal person.

☠ - How do they react to death?

He's accepted it as natural part of life. He doesn't shut down or anything like that; he keeps moving forward. L's death hit him because it came out of the blue, and at the time, Mello thought very highly of him. Matt's death, he kind of saw coming, and that one hurt him a lot more.
