Hiii I love your Mello x Light fic "what we lost in the fire,' its consumed my every thought ever since I read it!! The way you write Light and Mello is so good, their characterizations are so spot on and I love reading Mello's internal monologue. And GOD their chemistry is just. wow. holy. you write it so well. I keep thinking about what will happen next. I was wondering if you will finish the fic since its so amazing. Of course you dont have too, I understand if ur taking a break from it. I also love your other death note fics, and I actually just started getting into griffguts, so i plan to read ur griffgut fic as well. Hope u have a nice day/night!

Hello fellow mellolight shipper! It makes me so, so happy to hear you’re enjoying my fic! All of my mellolight fics have been so self-indulgent bc they’re such a rare pair, so it’s always such a nice surprise when I find others who are into them:)  Mello’s inner monologue is so incredible to write once I really get into it - his thoughts just flow so easily into my own head and through my fingers. Maybe he possesses me? This just in, Mello supports mellolight and is forcing author celestialbruise to bring it to life! lol but for real thank you so much anon<3 I do plan to finish this fic! I never want to leave any of my fics abandoned, but sadly inspiration comes in waves…but your message really inspired me to open the google doc and get to writing this morning, so thank you so much for that!
