I'm more taking an angle like "write your own life like it was fanfiction" because if I inserted myself into Harry Potter I fear I'd never return.
Title: "Hazel"
Rating: K+
Fandom: The Great Adventures of Carly
Characters: Carly, Patrick M.
Summary: His eyes are more incredible than she's ever seen them. They speak peace and serenity and burn hazel spots into her own eyes. (CarlyxPatrick drabble.)
She always jokes about him. He's her "fantasy boyfriend," she always says. Perfect fantasy material. But taken. A little too cool. Not the kind of boy that would be into her, at the very least.
She is not thinking any of this as she pushes through the hordes in the hallway. It is a typical transition from fifth to sixth period. Crowded. Rushed. She has no companion, no one to talk to over the inane teenage din that surrounds her like mist. She walks alone. She looks at her feet. But then her feet cease to be interesting. And she looks out, up, in a new direction.
He's there. He surprises her. She hadn't expected to see him there. But there he is. His hair is too long. His beard is too scruffy. And his eyes meet hers. His eyes are more incredible than she's ever seen them. They speak peace and serenity and burn hazel spots into her own eyes. A hopeful smile lights her face.
But then he is gone. The moment breaks. She moves forward, still alone.
