pairing: melody & sarah 

“I think we’ve officially lost Kriss and Johnny,” Melody chuckled as she pulled a wagon full of pumpkins between them.  “I saw them head into the corn maze, so who knows when we’ll see them next.”  Knowing those two they’d find very... creative ways to distract themselves.  Though she was relying solely on Kriss to get them both out of there, and even then-- well maybe Sarah and herself would have to go in and find them.  

“Do you remember the last time we were here?”  Melody asked, her free hand holding Sarah’s, swinging freely between them.  It felt strange being back home after all this time, but it was a nice reminder of everything they’ve been through since they were just a couple of kids in high school.  Still, in the end they had each other and Melody wished she could go back and tell her sixteen year old self she wasn’t being dramatic back then-- she truly found the great love of her life in Sarah Holtzman.  She just needed to be a little patient.  

“I tried to kiss you in the corn maze-- but we were oh so rudely interrupted by that witch I went to theater camp with.  I’m not even being catty... remember she was literally dressed like a witch,” she giggled as she brought them to a stop.  

“You held my hand all the way home and Kriss teased me for a week.”
