So I had someone in my server who, despite being 18, openly simped for characters that were younger than them...including a fifteen-year-old and a twelve-year-old. They also had a severely unhealthy attachment to the server, whenever people weren't paying constant attention to them they'd get upset and began writing plots about the other server member's personas bullying them to the point of ending their life. They even wrote a vent crying about how people weren't constantly paying attention to their MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE AUs they'd make a day. That's secondary to the pedophile thing though, just icing on top of an already shitty cake

Wukong and the Priest Discussion Time (Tripitaka Defense Post)

I was awakened to madness- CW: SEXUAL ASSAULT MENTION SO! I know a lot of you know Lego Monkie Kid, and the show has given absolute bupkis by way of showing Wukong's most important relationship: That with the Tang Priest. It wasn't abusive. It wasn't toxic. The priest didn't abuse and manipulate Wukong. These are common misconceptions that people who don't have all the information want to spread around to make the Tang Priest look bad (oftentimes they're ShadowPeach shippers who can't stand the idea that Macaque was actually a bad person and fiercely want to twist the narrative for their own ends or Wukong fans who refuse to admit that Wukong was extremely dangerous and had the circlet for a reason). That's not to say Sanzang didn't make his mistakes along the journey, he definitely did, but he always came to see Wukong's side in the end. Throughout the journey, there were many times when Wukong was moved to tears at the idea that his master would be hurt or even killed. Their bond become one of mutual respect (and in my opinion love), like the trope of a Knight and his Lady. Here, in these song lyrics Wukong (in my interpretation unless I'm jut flat-out wrong) talks about how despite all of his bad experiences in Heaven, he would rather keep to himself his bitterness because he knows how happy the priest is following along the gods' journey. He wants the priest to be happy, he's letting go of his past gripes for the sake of the man he cares about most. Even here we see how Wukong has this deep fear of losing the ones he loves, that is to say his brother disciples and the priest. His greatest fear is that one day his strength and powers won't be enough to save the people he cares about. Namely the priest who was captured and nearly taken advantage of several times by demons he's had to ask Heaven for help in defeating. I love LMK but it gets extremely frustrating when they sweep all of this aside for the sake of "Is Wukong truly evil? Is Heaven really evil?" drama so people go around thinking Wukong is genuinely as ignorant and incompetent as a sack of bricks. It's no wonder people who don't know JTTW are confused, the show touts itself as being a representation you can watch and get key JTTW beats from but they fundamentally change everything from the ground-up. TL;DR: Wukong and Tripitaka were not the case of an abusive mentor and their manipulated apprentice please remember that and thank you 🙏

Why is Iron Fan a Princess when her husband is a King?

I cracked the demonology code.

So I was wondering why in Journey to the West Red Son is the Boy Sage King, why Iron Fan is only a princess despite her marriage to DBK, and how exactly it works that Spider Queen was bumped down from Empress to Queen. The answer is simple! The Buddhist demons don't go by a regular monarchy, they're a meritocracy.

I know it sounds obvious, but I could not find the term for it for the longest time. So here's an example: The Demon Bull King would have to be one of (if not the) most powerful of the Demon Bull subspecies of demons as a whole to be given his title. Anyone who would want to take that title would have to surpass him in power, likely by defeating the Demon Bull King himself. Just as how Sun Wukong is the most powerful of all monkeys!

This also explains a question I had pertaining to Season 4: How did no other lion, eagle, or elephant take over Azure, Peng, and Yellowtusk's place after they were sealed within the Memory Scroll? This is answered: Because there's no demon among them who could come close to equaling the Brotherhood in power. With Peng and Yellowtusk unavailable to challenge for the throne, their legacy would have to be surpassed, which is nigh impossible to do.

This also explains how Red Son is the Boy Sage King but still a Demon Bull Prince. There's no way he'd be able to surpass his father's legacy or power at his current stage, however he accumulated enough power via the Samadhi Fire to demand a crown be placed upon his head for his own achievements.

So I tried to check the wiki just to see- why is this character French-Vietnamese and being the Sun Wukong reference? Like I tried to see if maybe he practiced Buddhism but...no. Idk that just doesn't sit right w/ me. Especially when the Monkey Miraculous specifically comes from the Chinese Miraculous. I do not not Miraculous Ladybug other than that the protagonist is a massive Mary Sue who literally stalked her crush, tried to make out with a wax statue of him, and even snuck into his room and sniffed his fucking pillow- also the creator massively hates one of his traumatized complex characters and is one of those men who are way too obsessed with teenage girls. Like I have heard his Twitter is quite the dumpster fire I am staring at the creator of this show while holding Wukong like

Let me be clear on my boundaries: There is nothing non-con in my works, nothing that goes to the extent of harming one's friends or families, nothing that isn't very light yandere content.

People who are fans of the trope don't genuinely seek an abusive relationship, nor do they romanticize being murdered/their loved ones being murdered. If they do, then they're weirdos.

And as to your question, no. I do not have BPD. If you have your grievances that's fine, but attacking someone by snarkily asking if they have bipolar disorder/borderline personality disorder just reveals you to be ableist.

Someone Gets It (Rant)

I will scream from the rooftops for decades about how the LMK Fandom has treated Chinese mythology like it's fucking Marvel fans thinking Marvel is 100% accurate to genuine mythology. Both Marvel fans and LMK fans have come to blows with actual religious practitioners and I have absolutely no patience for it. Gloves? Off. Hands? Caught. I might not be an expert but even I can tell you that the LMK fandom (especially on Twitter...) can be absolutely v i l e when it comes to Buddhists trying to give corrections to the fans who genuinely want to know more. I always love when people ask me questions about LMK events and their correlation to JTTW! However some LMK fans act like you're trying to torture them when you bring things up like: "Well Macaque and Wukong weren't friends...Macaque kinda showed up out of nowhere and tried to kill the disciples...as well as try to take their place so he could steal Buddhahood. They weren't boyfriends or tragic lovers nor did Wukong do anything wrong so it's actually super weird for LMK to try to force an MLM relationship between these two and trying to spin it to Wukong being "the one in the wrong" in some sort of sick, twisted victim blaming." Then the Macaque fans/simps lose their fucking shit because they want a bad boy character but not a character that's actually done bad things so they can fetishize him and the gay relationship he's in. And yes this is me directly talking to the ShadowPeach community (if this doesn't apply to you, obviously disregard what I'm gonna say) ShadowPeach fans have to be the peak toxics of this fandom. You guys will absolutely maul someone who doesn't like the ship, and you guys will break your backs the hardest to do mental gymnastics to insist to everyone that LMK is accurate and ShadowPeach happened in JTTW, even going so far as to say that the Tang Priest is abusive and forced Wukong to kill Macaque (I have seen this take). You can like LMK and JTTW (I do, after all!) but you need. NEED to recognize that the show is extremely inaccurate and its fans extremely disrespectful. Ask questions!! Do research! AND STOP TRYING TO ARGUE THAT YOU CAN FUCK A MINOR
