What are your thoughts on the description of Zoro as shy? Because I find myself fond of it but also confused as to how it actually manifests. I was curious if you agreed with the statement or had any thoughts on the matter?

I've never really seen him as shy overall LOL I see him as socially awkward and emotionally constipated so I think some ppl take his quietness or choppy words as shy sometimes when it's him just like, struggling to communicate like the average person (autistic king genuinely)

Shy would be Chopper, Zoro is overly aggressive and rough sometimes which could be considered as a reaction to being shy ig, but it's more of an embarrassed tsundere reaction - which I always perceived him as.

But in terms of what Oda said in his SBS, Zoro is shy or embarrassed about being open about his feelings specifically, not about anything else. Which, again, makes sense because he's an emotionally suppressive person. He struggles to tell the truth about his own feelings because his feelings are...well, embarrassing. Hence why he refused to admit he actually was worried about Sanji in Zou, and why he instead had an outburst of anger instead of openly airing his worry the way the other members could. Because how embarrassing would it be for him to actually admit he's worried about Sanji oh noooo LMFAO

But overall majority of the time he's not a shy person, like he's not shy meeting new people or being in new situations or anything, he's just incredibly socially awkward lol

I have such mixed feelings about Imu's design. Part of me doesn't really fibe with it yet. But other part of me loves the fact that he is given such "cool" and edgy design 'cus Imu is over dramatic manchild.
