this year i was blessed to have @turtledotjpeg, @jolynesrabbi, and kosmo as my artists and i can't be more excited to devour and share their art!!!
this @hxhbigbang25 has been so fun, as always!! it's an honor to help mod this and see how folks' brains work as the creation stages are underway. bb is such a great way to reconnect with the fandom, i already can't wait to see what people are up to for next year!!

on this the day of posting reveal 2, i come to you bearing my love letter to the fandom, my friends, and the people that inspire me!! i wanted this year's piece to be manageable (read: i'm not very good at long things anymore) and i also love writing for other people, so i figured a collection of one shots (1+1+1+1+1+1??) centered around food could be fun so i set off to work!!
first i creeped on everyone i wanted to write for and asked them what their favorite foods were. in hindsight i have to wonder if anyone thought that was weird or just the usual internet shenanigans...
@storybookprincess replied that she's a fan of tacos and sushi, so naturally killugon had to consume those. and it wouldn't be fit for the first person i talked to in the hxh fandom for the boys not to get a little creative with it.
i've known for a while that selkie's favorite dessert is creme brulee (the same as my husband!!) and she turned me on to pakumito, so i had to continue on our crusade to populate the ao3 pakumito tab and continue one of her one pieces where paku proposed with a wedding dress.
@shalnarkonice said her favorite food was pho or hot pot (gag, soup is for sick people!!) and i'd never written one of her favorite ships, hanzomenchi!! this one was fun to figure out for the old god of hxh fandom
@hurtinghabits replied with a cream-based pasta, and wouldn't you know my husband is also a cream-based pasta enjoyer and so i had the perfect recipe for leopika to make... though for once i didn't torture her with angst... maybe next time ;)
@turtledotjpeg said she enjoys a chocolate chip cookie, and i was really happy for kurapika to make something so warm and comforting for the other love of his life melody. (seriously go look at their melopika and meloleopika arts... they changed me)
and lastly, @fireolin took me down a wonderful sensory experience describing foods she's had at markets and throughout her childhood, so it only felt right to wrap it up with killugon having a veritable feast.
i just have to say thank you to these six incredible people—their friendly words and amazing additions to the fandom with their beautiful writing and art make the hxh sphere such a wonderful place to be. it's folks like y'all that make being in this fandom so fun and keep me (trapped) here.
to anyone else who read this far, thank you too! if i tried to write something for every person who's touched my life through hxh, i'd be at my computer for the rest of my life without being able to find all the words to do y'all justice. i hope you can find a little tidbid that resonates with you somewhere in my writing <3

Year Three in the Hunter x Hunter Big Bang! I’ll admit, I have very little time to write fanfiction these days, but the mods at @hxhbb19 keep the faith alive. I’m glad to participate again this year, and hope you guys enjoy the story!
