A little bit of lore....🤏

Madame Loretta or Loretta Moreau 🇫🇷 died in the late 1800s at her estate, where she accumulated a pile of garbage from loneliness and despair (hoarding). There was a fire and her ghost began to wander until she wandered into the hotel. She is also the closest relative of Hell's Chef

She settled there, opening her own antique shop, but she was also "lucky" to be next door to a Clock Master, with whom things didn't go well right away. They preferred not to cross paths most of the time, but then Clock Master started drinking and that's when the shit started. They couldn't share their personal space all the time. Because one of them was making noise in the workshop and leaving bottles, and the other one hates alcohol and also leaves dusty trash everywhere. Their quarrels were not serious and did not come to blows, they were more like two children who bully each other all the time just because these two are bored. But there were times when they often had to compromise, briefly arranging a truce

Gradually, from the "feuding neighbors" and with the help of some other residents of the hotel, Loretta and Clock Master began to realize that they were similar in many ways due to their common problems with loneliness and hopeless situation. The senseless feud has come to an end. Increasingly, they began to spend time in each other's company, and Loretta became very dear to him, not only as a neighbor in misfortune. Passive-aggressive jokes turned into warm gatherings over tea. Friendship also helped them to start getting rid of old habits (alcoholism and hoarding). They were able to cope with all the difficulties and the friendship developed into warm feelings, and then a relationship

Although they still like to "compete" like in the good old days, this is already a sign that they have come to terms with the past and accepted themselves for who they are. Or maybe it's just that they're flirting so interestingly)))

I think new Madame Loretta lived in a large religious family, where she was not given any attention, which is why she began to suffer from hoarding. But her parents didn't like it and they sent her to a monastery, where they tried to "re-educate" her, but in the end they considered her just crazy and gave her a separate small estate, where her hoarding only worsened due to loneliness and stress. She was just left to rot alone in a big house

Besides collecting, she often enjoyed walking at night with a candle holder. Because it was at this time that she could observe people from the outside and not feel alone in this world. But she understood that they had all rejected her, that she would never become a part of society. She despised them all, but she also wanted to feel at least some kind of life. The only person she continued to communicate with was her twin sister (correspondence by letters)

Is there also a reason why she hates alcohol? Alcoholism was a big problem in her large family, as her father and brothers drank a lot

Lori doesn't remember how she died or what happened to her, but she remembers the fire from the fallen candle. That's how she ended up at Gregory House. At first, it was very difficult for her to adapt, as she lost a lot of valuable things and behaved very unsociably and even aggressively. When Gregory found out from her the reason for this behavior, he gave her a lot of antiques that he could only find. It was also a very long process so that she could somehow overcome hoarding, so Gregory, Harper and a few other residents somehow managed to help her get rid of it, as they did not want the hotel to turn into a garbage warehouse. That's how she opened her antique shop. She's still a little greedy, but if she trusts a person, she can sell them her goods, making sure her treasures are in safe hands. She appeared long before Clock Master and many other guests, so Gregory is very good friends with her

Sometimes she still has the old habit of wandering around with a candlestick. She can be seen at night, walking through dark corridors. She doesn't bother others with this, but just watches and sometimes talks to someone
