𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 I broke my commitment of “onion rings don’t go in burgers” for @burgerxpresslondon, and it was a great choice. This is the BBQ Xpress Burger; beef patty, American cheese, BBQ sauce, 2 Jumbo onion rings, spicy slaw, lettuce & chipotle mayo. The reason why this burger worked for me is because the onion rings were super crunchy so it actually added the texture it’s meant to. Usually onion rings in a burger just go soggy, but these were spot on. The BBQ sauce was really good, I’m more of a Smokey than sweet and this was the perfect balance. The chipotle mayo also blended well, you get that nice little underlaying kick to the burger. I'm so not okay in so many ways.... The last few minutes were just a mixture of hyperventilating, ugly crying and laughing because it made me so happy. I actually like how they ended things. I missed Cas, but on the other side, knowing he's not in the empty but with Jack making heaven a better place (like he always wanted! <3) is kinda making up for it tbh. Kinda. Still sad he wasn't there.
