The 21 Best-Designed Apps Of 2013

Since we are wrapping up 2013, had to put in one more top list of 2013 designs. There are the obvious such as Snapchat, Vine and Mailbox that changed virtual communication to the unknown such as Mem:O which appears pretty sleek and useful. Tinder also made the list which is personally one of the apps I feel has a genius design in 2013. The creators of Tinder used gamification to make online dating fun, draw in users, and make the users feel like they are "winning" every time they receive a match. It is a drastically different design approach than its competitors (such as Match.com and OkCupid) where users complain about the level of work these sites require. In 2013 there was a very common theme: there were many apps that took traditional services and looked at new ways to make the experience better for its users.

This app keeps track of whatever you want it to: miles run, calories eaten, hours of study...  It takes all of that info and puts it in really fun graphs and charts for you to better understand your own life.  This probably isn't the most practical version of this but the ease of use and simple look is enough to make this a go to app for record keeping of any kind.
