     the warmth of the sun caresses his face as he leans back on his elbows, tilts his head back into it.  all around him sounds and scents of nature: the twitter of birds,  breeze of the wind through the leaves,  the gentle rippling of a stream,  the sweet fragrance of the wildflowers growing in the grass.  he can’t remember the last time he felt so relaxed, free of worry and rumination,  can’t remember the last time he’s spent in a place quite as idyllic as this world.  the heartless have yet to show.  lea hopes they won’t.  a sound behind him makes his head tilt further back, neck bending to look over his shoulder.  a smile curves his mouth at the sight of namine, a whole riot of colourful flowers held in her gentle grasp.  “ y’ should get that one over there, “ he comments idly, rendering the peaceful silence.  “ the red one. “  // @memcriia

       ✰—-Upon every GLIMPSE of her, Sora was always unsure just how real she was this time.        His eyes stared upon the soft hint of her eyes that shimmered curiously back, all of her seeming there and real. Gently Sora extended a hand, touching the frays of golden blonde that felt warm and soft at his fingers as the smile ILLUMINATED his face.           ❝ Naminé...It’s really you... ❞

               he needs not SEE to know she is there, presence UNMISTAKABLE as any other’s ( she smells like them ). the OTHER, manipulator of that around her, he knows what she is CAPABLE of, and still she chose to help.

   A silence steeps forth, the background an ashen grey----this place unlike between worlds. This space different, unknown, invisible to those not looking for an existence. Encountering here is an inevitable happenstance; a light that casts a shadow. A splintering map of missing pieces---likewise to him. 

                    ‘ I’m envious. ’ 

   his voice echos, contemplating the very meaning of the word. An emotion ebbing forth incomprehensible. ‘ Hate is considered a strong word isn’t it? I’ll stick with that. Envious---right? THOUGHTS | accepting 

      ✰—-SORA STRUGGLES with retaining information to begin with, he’s always had trouble with remembering things prior to the affliction with Naminé’s interference but ever since it’s been progressively worse. There are instances where Sora will recount information that is either dated or inaccurate, and sometimes even pulling from the shuffle of memories he inherited from Ventus, Roxas or Xion. It causes a lot of frustration on his end to uphold conversations, saying things that he doesn’t actually recall and then completely losing train of thought on the subject. A lot of times, he mistakes their memories for his own which leads to empty connections to things he wasn’t really apart of, and of those Sora becomes incredibly attached to these instances; stubbornly refusing to discard them as his own. Memories to him are just as precious as the people they are attached to, when forgetting something he usually takes it pretty hard.

      ✰—-He watches PATIENTLY over her shoulder, looking intently as she draws the lines with careful thoughtful; fingers brushing away the flecks of crayon shavings, and dutifully continuing her work. Between his own attempts, he watches her for guidance; hands working on the small scratchings against his BORROWED paper. Sora holds up the drawing, a frown pulled to his lips while fingers scratch through the pointed ends of spiked hair.       ❝ I don’t think I did this right ? ❞

“You’re going to be fine. I promise.”

♔ —— | Having exhausted all of her magic energy, the brunette foundherself stricken with a type of paralysis that came after running her powers toa greater extent than her body could handle. Sweat trickled down porcelainskin, her breathes were shaky and heavy – limbs incredibly heavy as if gravitywas working to crush her against the earth. Despite all the suffering that camewith using her abilities like this – as long as the people she aimed to protectwas okay, then that was all that mattered. 

Collapsing against the wall, Garnettried to focus on making her vision clear. The stress placed upon her body wassevere and just as anxiety began to fester from being vulnerable – a tendervoice called out and warmed the chills that had been sent down her spine.  Words of compassion, assuring the dove shewas going to be okay. Suddenly she felt as though she could finally feel thewarmth from the sun. Her once blurry vision settled and she locked eyes withbeautiful azure irises. 

A golden crown fell perfectly along the woman’s faceand immediately Garnet felt a sense of calm upon seeing such a gentle face. Aweak smile curved upon her rose colored lips just as she whispered in response,

 “…Thank you…”
