What does your Galaxy look like?

The sole child of an otherwise barren dragon, Gloria was kept hidden away and sheltered from the world out of fear of endangering her. Everything she knows about the world comes from her sires, and though she longs to explore the outside world for her own, her admiration and love for her sires keeps her from disobeying their commands. Still, she can’t help but be lonely-- especially when her sires leave for extended periods of time, leaving her alone in their cave.

Djeeta had no doubts that she would eventually die (there was a time she nearly did) yet she was unsure if it would be from her own mortality or if her soulmate–Enough. She rids the thoughts from her mind, not wanting to waste time worrying about it.
Although, it sounds amazing to have that chance come by and she wished that she could have that happen for her. Though the regrets she wanted to face head on...wouldn’t save those that she hadn’t previously. Claiming it was out of her hands–to her–would be irresponsible. The idea of it being out of her control when she could have done something unsettles her still.
The skyfarer is mortal, there is no changing that. Instead of dragging her mood down, Djeeta was going to take this chance to learn more. She had a number of immortal crewmates and this could be what she needed for understanding their long lives.
“When it does come…” she begins, meeting the woman’s ruby gaze. “Do you take it? Do you ever regret any of the times you didn’t go for it before?”

“E-Eh?” The comment renders Djeeta speechless, jaw hanging slack in disbelief and brown eyes wide in surprise. Her knife hovered over the meat on the cutting board, wondering what brought it on. What was so deceptive, she wonders while she recollects herself, her open mouth closing to a frown.
Could it have anything to do with her first impression? She’s unsure, all she knew for certain was that V needed to eat. Definitely needed to eat. The blonde had half-convinced and half-forced him to agree to try what she cooked, since what she had purchased for dinner would be enough for both of them.
Djeeta had previously fussed over his health, all over needing sleep and food. Even through all her stubbornness there were times she didn’t think there would be an end in sight. Yet, alas...a breakthrough.
Who would have thought she could achieve results if she claimed she would cook the meal mentioned in the last book they read?
Her frown remains and her brows furrow as she brings the knife down with a thud, making a precise cut into the meat. “What makes you say that?” she asks, her voice gentle and curious, contrasting against the earlier aggressive action. “I don’t think I’ve been deceptive at all.”

A smile remains on her lips in order to show understanding and patience–all in order to hide the slight disappointment. She thought as such, knowing that there could be the chance of receiving no answers. Though she’s aware that one can miss shots they never take.
And asking about his thoughts on her role as the Singularity was worth a shot...and if it really meant inviting destruction to their skies. Even so…
Even so she’ll still go forward with Lyria and Vyrn at her side.
“Thank you, Lucifer,” she said, placing his cup of coffee down. “Just knowing you wish you could...means a lot to me.”
There’s so many more things she wants to know, though she refrains from asking. In the chance that she does return to their skies, she’ll learn it during their adventure. For now, she wanted to take this chance and talk with him more.

It’s a shame she doesn’t have any healing spells, if she were home it would be no problem to use magic for a minor fix. Still, she had her knowledge on how to properly tend to wounds. If only he’d comply.
