Awake //*glares at Mia and scrambles to hide*
"What are you fucking doing in my bed. And my house? How did the wards let you in?! Get out! Now! Or so help me Norns--!"
Awake.
Loki was quite used to waking up at ungodly hours of the morning. Typically, the nightmares woke him up and instead of laying in bed fighting sleep, he'd go off and find something to distract himself with.
Today was slightly different. When his eyes did manage to flicker open, still heavy with years of little to no sleep that last night had barely even managed to cover, he was met with the realization that last night had been entirely, blessingly nightmare-free. Actually, he couldn't recall dreaming at all. Or perhaps he had and just didn't remember any of it, which was rare but welcomed nonetheless. He stretched then with a sharp sigh, grunting when his muscles suddenly throbbed, aching from some unknown exertion. Maybe he'd worked out too much yesterday. Wouldn't be the first time. Rolling over on his side with means of snatching his phone from the other nightstand, he bumped into something that was solid, human like in structure. His eyes widened, heart racing a thousand miles per second until those malachite eyes lowered, catching the sight of Aldrich's smooth, handsome, sleeping face.
Almost immediately, Loki calmed down, but then confusion crossed his mind and he scrambled to remember the contents of the night before (he had enough troubles remembering what he ate the previous day, much less what he'd done). Then again, did it matter? Aldrich was in his bed for Gods' sakes. Wasn't this what he'd always, always wanted? Yes, yes it was. Instead of questioning it any further, he carefully settled back down, hesitantly resting his head on the man's chest and listening to the faint thump of his heartbeat inside. There were butterflies racing through the God's stomach that he couldn't calm down no matter how hard he tried and they only fluttered more when he rested an arm over Aldrich, his hand resting on his shoulder. Whether this had happened purposefully or not didn't quite matter. For now, he'd enjoy this while he could.
Awake.
Loki's immediate thought when he awoke the next morning was "this isn't my house," instead of the usual "wow, what a great sleep last night." After a moment of remembering that he was at Lilitu's second home, the first thought was pushed aside and he welcomed the well-rested feeling he was granted with, something incredibly foreign to him, especially as of late. He turned on his side, thinking maybe another hour of sleep wouldn't hurt, only for his eyes to catch the smear of a bright, pastel color he usually, if not always, associated with his friend. Immediately, his eyes widened and he rolled back, managing to fall off the bed and land on the floor with a loud wump! In the process, he'd managed to smack his elbow on the bedside table and while that and his back throbbed from the impacts, he popped his head up to confirm that Lilitu was, indeed, in "his" bed.
She was wearing clothes, yes? Looked like it. He hadn't drank last night, right? Not that he recalled. She didn't go to be with him had she? No, he distinctly remembered falling asleep by himself.
Bad dream? Maybe... Or maybe just pretend it never happened, he thought.
Awake {On Raven's Wings Verse}
There was something dramatically different about falling asleep on the pitiful excuse of a bed on Midgard compared to his own, much comfier mattress on Asgard. This was evident in his tense, sore muscles and the crook in his neck. The God sat up, an ugly, sleepy glare plastered to his face as he searched the room with tired, blinking eyes until they landed on the form of Dummy beside him. The hell? He didn't remember falling asleep with the man beside him. Shrugging it off, he rolled out of the bed and slipped outdoors to gather some wood for the fire.
Awake!
When Loki awoke the following morning, he was shocked to find that Eris was tucked beside him, though it wasn't unnecessarily a bad shock, more like a confused sort of surprise. He assumed she'd had a bad dream the previous night and had crawled into bed with him in hopes of scaring it away. Either way, he silently got out of bed, leaving her there to sleep peacefully.
awake~ (lol angry reaction a-go, i'm sure)
Screeeeeeech. "Get out of my house! How did you get in here? You fuckin' creep, get outta my bed!"
Awake
First there was a frightened gasp and then there was a terrifying, inhuman screech before Unicorn promptly shoved Barton from off his bed.
awake~
Loki didn't wake until late the next morning and when he did he stretched his aching muscles with a grunt and struggled against falling back asleep, even if it sounded wonderful. The late morning light was streaming in through the windows and the God turned on his side, expecting, naturally, for the other side to be empty as it always was.
He was met not with an empty half of his bed but with the form of someone lying there. A twin. It was Liesmith, sound asleep and nestled beneath the covers, his face smooth with the gentleness of sleep, peacefulness. Memories of the night before rushed into Unicorn's head and he couldn't help the grin that crossed his features before he inched closed, wrapping an arm around his counterpart and tucking his face into the crook of his soft neck in order to give into the pull of sleep anyway.
